Delight in Simple Things

Still not much time for me to make cards. Today I just added all my images that i colored already last week onto a card base. I used a lot of Stickles for this card... there is Stickles on the balloons, clouds and some on the pink flower. The Pixie Pink layers are all distressed with Tim Holz Tonic distresser.

Edit to add: Carole asked me today how i colored the "Carnival Fun" panel. I thought i answer it here cause maybe others have the same question.
First i wheeled the stamp using black Stazon onto hot pressed watercolor paper. The coloring was done in this order: sky, brown for the sidewalk, green for the grass with shimmery pebbls chalks. I use for my coloring the jewel tones, i love that chalks come with different sizes of cotton balls so i can easily color even in tiny corners with the small tip. shadows underneath the mary-go-round was made with the darker green coodinating with the lighter color using small cotton ball. I added "sand" on the sidewalk with Prismacolor Pencils. The pencils were also used to color in the wagons and the trims of the tents. Ballons, tents the horses were watercolored with re-inkers. To deepen the shadows of the bushes i also used Prismacolor Pencils. Some highlights were set using sparingly Twinkeling H2O colors. Last i added Diamond Stickles to the clouds. For the European readers... I have only heard the best of All that scraps for orders even to Europe. Christine answers questions you might have really fast.

Stamps: Magnolia Tilda from the Spring/Summer Collection 2008; first page
Stampin Up: Jumbo wheel "Carnival Fun" retiered, Delight in Simple Things card kit
Paper/CS: Whisper White, Pixie Pink, DP - do not remember, cold pressed watercolor paper
Embellishments: Prima Flowers (Magnolia), Making Memories rhinestone brads, hot pink ribbon - Michaels, Stickles
Coloring: Pebbles shimmery chalks, Stampin up re-inkers, Prismacolor pencils, Chocolate Chip ink, black Stazon

Used this weeks sketch from Poetic Artistry to make my card.
