Saturated Canary Rubber Stamps New Release & Candy

I am so excited to participate in todays blog hop for Little Darlings, to celebrate their new Winter 2012 Collection of Saturated Canary Rubberstamps. I am so excited that Angie invited me to be part of this event, with the rest of her fabulous Design Team. If you came from someone else blog, you might know already that some girls participating in the hop are able to raffle a stamp to one of you who leaves a comment.

I am excited to be able to give one of you a stamp from Little Darlings Saturated Canary Line
(more infos at the bottom of my posting)!
Thank you Angie! So keep on hopping Smile besides seeing the new images and great cards along the way you can enter your name to win even more stamps.Claudia_Rosa_Coccoa_1_f
Some of the new images which you can all purchase right now in RUBBBER, you might recognize from Krista’s line and some are brand new but all are as always super cute, whimsical, sweet and sexy. Speaking of sexy… I went a bit different on the sentiment for my card today…. My husband came up with this idea and I went with it. However…. if you prefer a more generic sentiment “your friendship warms my heart” or “Warmest Wishes On Your Birthday” “Sending you warm wishes”, “Get well soon” are just a few possibilities!

I did to list this card in a little bit over on Etsy, if you like it.
THE SENTIMENT CAN BE EXCHANGED TO ANYTHING YOU LIKE IT TO BE
– just leave a message at the checkout box or email me.

Here are some supplies I used on my card
Little Darlings – Saturated Canary line “Cocoa
Papers: Basic Grey

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello, thank you for visiting me today!

I would like to show you an other shaker card, this time with the cute skating couple. At first I was concerned if I could fit this image into a circle to construct the shaker but it worked out at the end.

Claudia_Rosa_skating shaker_1

So glad the photos turned out all right! It is never easy to get a good shot of the card front. I have either the daylight lamp reflecting in the acetate or glitter makes the foil look cloudy or the acetate looks “bumpy”.

Claudia_Rosa_skating shaker_2

The card was ordered by Pamela, she wants to give this card to her husband. I thought this sentiment my friend Tammi made is perfect for this romantic picture.
I guess that’s it Smile the blurb what I used is as always at the bottom of this posting. Hope you liked my card I was able to show.
With Love

winter pocket card

Hello thank you for visiting me today.Claudia_Rosa_to someone_2
I have an other pocket card to share. This card was so fun to make – it does take a little extra time and this card turned out to to be quite heavy with all the double matting and embellishments but since the little Penguin is so quickly colored in, its okay to spent the time you are saving on coloring to work a little extra on the base. Just for those days you are just not feeling like you want to color. Smile

Claudia_Rosa_to someone_1

I hope the photos show the concept of the card – the picture is just loosely tucked into the pocket in the front and once you pull it out, there is a hidden message behind the circular shape – construction is just like you would make a circular card base.

Claudia Rosa_Teddy und Pinguin_1
Well, well.. my kids just got picked up by their grandparents from Canada to spent a week there, before school starts for them. Wow.. I will have a full week all for myself whooohoo!! So this weekend I will help my husband laying the hardwood floor in the basement but than I have like 5!!! I feel dizzy without any alcohol hahaha. Definitely want to use some of this time with my stamps. I have the feelings since I came home from Germany I have to squeeze stamping time in all the time and I have not even had a chance to play with my new images. This one is from the forthcoming Lili of the Valley “Christmas Animals” I am sure you saw already some samples. I am not quite there yet to make 100% Christmas cards, so my cards for now are more “Winter” and inspired and fit in the “card for all occasions” section. I think I will get there eventually Smile There are some really sweet images in this new collection and most of all.. some are going to be so easy to color in – perfect for those last minute cards or little gifts to decorate – cause really who can spent 1 hour coloring to decorate like a bunch of gift boxes?

Gee… I was chatty today.. you can tell already – I  am in “relax” mode hahahaha

Cute new LOVT’s

wow.. the new Lili of the Valley’s are most adorable. I finally got a chance to make a selection of my favorites and get them lead out on my craft table to find papers that work with them. Mind you… my basement is not near as finished… all my Christmas supplies are tucked in the container. I was promised by the time I am back home its all been taken care off…. I think it will still take til the end of September. This image is called  “Snow Queen” and it is shipping already!
Claudia Rosa_girl with star_1
Luckily this Magnolia quilt paper fits quite nicely with the round snowflakes on the image and the blue paper from the wedding line pulls the “cold” into the layout I was looking for.
The big scroll was cut from silver chipboard… I have my die for a while now – I searched high and low and its not available for us in the USA but you can find it at Timbroscrapmania (I saw it in Barbara’s shop while I was there). The flowers I use are from my local Dollar store.. they are a bit pricier than if I ordered with Wild Orchid Crafts but its just convenient to grab a bag or two while aim there.
Claudia Rosa_girl with star_2
The inside is as always decorated as well. I used a really beautiful shimmery grey panel to add the handwriting to the card. A white gel pen will do the trick (but the panel can be easily removed) The opposite side has the full scroll heart shape, also cut from silver chipboard. Some corners and the flowers have “frosted” petals with Glass Glitter.
Claudia Rosa_girl with star_3
Thanks for visiting me today.
I am going to have a little Magnolia candy up on the weekend… 2 Maggies from the current Autumn Collection if you are interested are up for grasp.
hugs
Claudia

heart to heart–hand in hand

Hello friends… finally I feel iam getting back to normal. The kids are both back to school and Halloween is over. Geee… sewing for Lucas a Ninja head mask and a sword cover was a pain in the behind, but he looked really “cool” Smile.  Today I would like to show you a card made with a image that has been requested and I must say I have a hard time explaining in English how special this one had turned out for me. This image is back from early 2009 (New Years Collection) when some other great card makers like Ila, Bea or Inge were still with me on the Magnolia Design Team. Sooo very much has changed since than, and while coloring my memories were coming back about all the beautiful cards they make.  I remembered  about how excited I was when I got my very first Inge card using this image – OMG! She colored Tilda’ s coat blue Smile a really stunning card. Now I own like 3 or 4 of her artwork.

quickies with minis

Hi there.. today I finally post the little frames I made about 2 weeks ago. I confess… I was not too happy how the pictures turned out and I felt bad posting them on my blog.
I was like… damn.. I make for years so many projects how can I not take a picture BEFORE I adhere the image behind the acetate?????  Now you probably think.. why did you not take them out again lol… well.. clever me, decided to totally glue the frames shut from the back and add my personal seal over it because the frames have to go to Sweden as part of my DT commitment.
Claudia_Rosa_Mini_frames_2

Here is a shot of the entire Magnolia girls. I must say.. it does look really sweet that bunch of vintage frames and the images in them. Even glitter I added with Stickles or the Twinklets do show quite well..
Claudia_Rosa_Mini_frames_1
Claudia_Rosa_Mini_frames_3
Soooo… aaanyhooow… the cute frames can be found at Michaels in the Dollar bin and as you can tell the size is perfect to use with the Mini Magnolia’s. I have picked up a few more – thought they would look cute in a little girls room as well..

Thinking of you

claudia_rosa_Thinking of you_2

Hi there.. today’s card is for Cute Card Thursdays Challenge were we have a sketch up to work with… I think this card could also work for Lili of the Valley’s challenge “White and Aqua”. Check it out … fabulous prizes are to win on both challenge sites.
claudia_rosa_Thinking of you_1

If you have a look at the lates  Lili of the Valley images you could think they are mostly aimed to use on  Christmas/New Year cards but, I would like to show a “Thinking of You” card using one of the latest release. I always need cards like that in my drawer to sent to somebody!!! The new line of stamps has some really sweet images to cover this occasion too and altho the image is so sweet… look how different and mature it can look with darker papers. I could see myself sending this card to a male!!
claudia_rosa_Thinking of you_3
Ps.: the sentiment has been cut out of some scrap pieces of heavier cardboard (left pieces of the Hanglar envelope bag) covered in Distress crackle paint – left to dry, sponged with Distress inks and stamped with black Stazon. Supplies can be found at Cute stamps and Cards

Hi friends… quick posting Smile My oldest son Lucas is turning 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! today. OMG…where did the time go???? We have had a great time yesterday preparing cupcakes for his class mates.. we decorated them all our self with colored icing, sprinkles and glitter icing lol I was telling him it looks like fairy dust. Must say.. I am going to to this now every year… sometimes I purchased the cakes in the store because they just look more uniform… but seeing him so proud on what he had done for his friends… you can not top this.
