Hallow’s Night Invitation Mailbox

Hello ladies,

today i would love to show a tiny mailbox which i have altered with some Motivet stamps.
Those mailboxes are from Target and they are usually in the $1 section around Valentines day. I have somewhere on my blog a tin made with some sitting Magnolia stamps. However this cute stamp from Motivet has just the perfect size to be cut and added to 3 D items.

Claudia_Rosa_Hallows night3

Inside the mailbox is a note tucked. I will have some friends with kids over for a tiny party before we take off for Trick or Treating. The flower in the corner was originally white – matched it with some YG 000 and my airbrush gun

Claudia_Rosa_Hallows night1

The sparkely letters and tree are by Making Memories (Spellbound). i found those at Michaels, really a great price if i think on how many projects i have used those stickers this year already. The gem border is by Recollections and i think it is a new item at Michaels.. a bit pricier but nice and it comes in different colors and made from pearls.

Claudia_Rosa_Hallows night4
This site is rather simple … i think i kind of ran out of time :-)
Ribbons btw. are from Stampin up

Motivet stamps can also be purchased with Cute STamps and cards along with most of the embellishments i have used and Copic Supplies
Check it out!

To My Deer Friend

Today i would love to share a card which i was able to finish yesterday. I must say it was made under time pressure but i am still happy with the result.
The challenge over on Cute Card Thursday is for this week “Play on words” i must say i had to ask my husband about some ideas to actually “GET” it :-)
The other idea i had was IF i had the new cherry Tildas :-) to make a card “You are berry sweet” but hei.. just a few more days and i should have them.

This Motivet image “girl with deer” is one of my favorites from last years collection and i think the sentiment is quite cute with it too.

Happy Halloween

Hello all… today i would like to show you a fairly simple card made with some of my new toys :-)
I placed at the beginning of the month a order with new Stamping up goodies… i also threw in a couple of the new embossing folders. I usually do not use them too often – but they were just too beautiful. To make the pattern stand out a bit more to the black cardstock, i slightly sponged with white craft ink and a make up sponge over it.
The new Motivet image “
bat on a Pumpkin” is stamped, cut out and than adhered to card with pop up dots.

Stamps: Motivet “Bat with Pumpkin” though Motivet in Canada, Sentiment: Stampin up
There are not many retailer who can sell Motivet stamps.. one of them is
Cute Stamps and Cards – if you like to check it out.
Papers: Basic Grey
Embellishments: Embossing folder, ribbon (Stamping up)

oct 31

Hei there :-)
So here iam with a card that i have juuust finished.
Each year i think.. iam NOT getting any new Halloween images. Why??? I don’t need them.. who am i going to sent the cards anyways? Hahahaha.. and every single year i break down and i just have to have them. I think they are just sooo cute, it is just something about the images and what they do that intrigues me and Halloween images just simply are perfect to use on 3 D stuff. I think that’s this time of the year when i think about the most what i can create with boxes or bottles ect.
Claudia_Rosa_ Oct31_1
This cutie is a new image from Motivet. You might recognize the cat. There was once the free download from that kitten on the blog, now you can order this stamp in rubber. I like that we get to see the kitten now in other images. Well about my card… i rushed.. the papers were not even really cut.. all the papers you see were scraps which i just layered and matted. The image i wanted to have in a “night” setting. So i masked the kitten and airbrushed with C5, E50 (around the star) and YR01 (over grey). To speed things up i used Making Memories foam glitter stickers to add my sentiment to the card.
Claudia_Rosa_ Oct31 Stamps: Motivet Rubberstamp “Kitten with candy bag”
Papers and foam stickers: Making Memories “Spellbound” (stickers are at Michaels)
Nestabilities; Circles
stamps and all supplies like flowers ribbons, gems and stickles can also be found over at

my favorite….

Hi there, thank you so much for visiting me. Well.. iam kind of late with my posting, all week long i was struggeling with things. I had this week surgery in the hospital – recovery is going great and iam feeling much better now. Most of the more “fancy” cards i had posted this week were pre-made and with “fancy” i mean watercoloring. That really takes me so much longer than coloring with Copics.
As for my card today.. my wonderful friend Carole was kind and switches weeks with me, so i did not had to worry about things with the Friday Sketcher blog but i loved her cute sketch and i wanted to participate. From all the stamps i have.. i just like the Motivets (Hilda with flowers), they make just lovely cards and they are sooo easy to color in. No worries about skin tones ect. most of the times i use for Hilda images colors of the N palette.

Well.. i guess i let you go and i will rest and watch a movie cause my boys are good taken care of, from my laws – they are having a blast in Toronto and at their pool.. they just told me that they want to stay even longer at grandma’s and grandpa’s house :-)
Hopefully you will play along and post your own creation on the Friday Sketcher blog The fabulous Sassy Sketcher girls who have made a card for this week are: Aud, Bea, Inge, Carole, Jacque, Janneke, Jeanette & Tanja

Stamps: Hilda with flowers

Vintage Hilda “Thank You”

Hi there.. thank you so much for your visit today on my blog.

Today i want to show you my “vintage” Motivet card. What do you think??? I really like the card.. unfortunately i had trouble with the light. Before we left on on vacation we had some really bad weather in Michigan. One day we even had a tornado warning and we all went down in the basement. Was the first time we had the sirenes going on in my town.

I left more white in the coloring of my image.. simply because i did want to have her look a little different.. try a little to practice the “cartoon” look. Not that i do like the extreme look of it but some pictures i saw online i really find interesting.
the ribbon sliders as well as some Motivet stamps can also be found at Cute Stamps and Cards!
Before i forget.. the papers are by K&Company “Madeleine” 8x8

How cute are the new Motivet stamps????
This one was sooo fun and fast to color in… what a nice change here and there to just make something without much to worry.
I kept this card on purpose simple but at the end of this week i have for you a Motivet card more vintage. Hilda really does look on modern papers as well with vintage style just fashionable sweet and adorable!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today i have a fun summer card made with one of the new Motivet stamps.
The inspiration to this card came from the sketch the very talented Aud prepared for the Friday Sketcher blog.
I love the soft colors on last years My Minds papers and i picked also some tickets to go a long with the line but never used them, but for this weeks sketch i thought they do the trick :-)

Happy 4. Of July

Hello my friends…thank you for your visit.

Today i have a very “American” inspired card made. 4. of July is just simply amazing… besides the history of this holiday, it is always a wonderful experience for me, husband and of course the boys to first be at a gathering with friends and than later we go and watch the amazing fireworks at night. Even in the area were we live.. where it is not that big of a city.. omg.. it is for me as a European still something where i go uuuuhhh and aaahhh :-)
Iam especially anxious about 4. of July this year, because we are going to be that day in Orlando, Florida and i can not wait to see what this city has planned.

Anyhow..  the card came together when i looked at
Carole’s great sketch for this week. I noticed the scallops at the bottom and i thought … must be doing something different than just using a border punch… so i looked though my papers and i came across this Imaginice paper with the pattern that had the big loops, i simply cut some of them out and matched my image to the papers.

Stamps: Motivet Rubberstamps “Man with BBQ”Claudia_Rosa_Invited_1
also available though Cute Stamps and Cards, Netherlands

Papers: Imaginice found at Michaels
others: Ribbons (Stampin up and Offray), punches (all Stampin up)
Sentiment (Amuse Art Stamps)
Embellishments: Making Memories

Kiss The Cook

Hello ladies.. thank you for your visit. OMG.. i feel bad about my card today :-( it was rushed yesterday morning and on top of all that, we had a big rain storm crossing Michigan. Which made it totally dark in the morning. My little one was asking.. mama is it already bed time?

Oh well.. i did not even bother anymore with a detail shot – i knew it would not show well. At this point i was just happy that my card for this weeks challenge on Cute Card Thursday (Orange/Blue & Black) was in time submitted. That’s why i NEED a photo tent lol. If only hubby would see it that way too.

Claudia_Rosa_Kissthecook_3  Stamps: Hilda Chef is from Motivet’s new release
Papers: BoBunny
It does not show on my picture but the hat and the tray do sparkle from Spica Glitter pens to give it something special.

Thank you and have a great day

Wheeeeee

I know :-) its a little early for water fun for most of the countries :-) but i have ordered some new papers online, this one is by Cosmo Cricket called DeLovely and i simply could not resist it. You know how much i like the bright and fun colors.

Unfortunately my new Motivets have not arrived by the time i made this card so i picked one of my favorites from last years summer collection. This Hilda image is the cutest :-) I also like when i have some images i can use inside a circle shape, don’t you too?

Used my new Nestie flower set to mimic kind of the water… first i punched it out from blue cardstock but it did not look right, so the pink one must do the trick :-) hahaha sorry.. i almost feel i have to explain what i saw in my own card :-)

Congrats

Hello ladies, i hope you have a good day. What a pity, just when we thought the warmer weather has arrived, it started to rain. Last weekend we went to the Detroit Farmers Market and i have in my driveway several tomato plants, herbs and flowers sitting who need to be planted. Oh well.. think i will make a card instead lol.

I can not wait until i have my order with the new stamps from Motivet in… so i was re-organizing my Motivet’s and thought this cutie would look so sweet with my new Tim Holz papers. The simple greys and pinks matched nicely and i wanted to try to give it a vintage feel.. so i distressed and inked a lot :-)

Congrats_Claudia_Rosa_1_re

Happy Birthday – To You

Hello, how are you today?
I would like to show you a card with one of my Motivet stamps. Isn't this bear a cutie?

OMG… Stephanie mentioned on her blog that there soon are going to be new Hilda’ stamps coming. I'm so excited.. i love the Motivets and Hilda the Hippo is definitely my favorite character. Here is a little sneak-peek from the blog :-)

100511sneakpeek

The card is pretty much straight forward. All i did was stamp and color the flower twice and pop it up onto spacers to give it a bit more dimension since i was careful on this card with flower arrangements. I think the card could work for a girl and a boy.

Happy Birthday To You_1_re

 Stamps: Motivet Rubberstamps
Papers: Basic Grey
Embellishments: Stampin up ribbon, Flowers (Prima Marketing)
Tools: Fiskars, Nestabilities, Word Window punch

Hello Kitty, Kitty

Hello ladies, today i would like to show you an other Motivet card. I always thought the free downloadable kitten image is sooo cute.. i wonder why i never got around to make a card with it sooner. Anyhow, yesterday i have printed the kitten on Computer paper at 30% and found that size really nice for the 6x6 card i am making.

I had not much time cause i drive my husband recently to work back and forth plus all the boy classes going on so i had not the time to spent much time on coloring a Magnolia image. The kitten was perfect to just leave it white just using some greys to define her coat. I used the computer print out as mask and just airbrushed with a fairly dark blue (51) the background in so she really would stand out nicely against the sky and the bold colors of the paper.

Sending Love_1_re

Stamps: Motivet free download
Papers: Basic Grey last years Wisteria (i believe)
Tools: Fiskars 2” circle punch, Cuttlebug vintage corners
Embellishments: Stampin up ribbon,
Whiff Of Joy (charms), Flowers (cute cards and Stamps)
Crochet ribbon from my wonderful friend Carole!!!

Thank you so much for visiting me today.

Hello my friends… today i would love to share some pictures of my youngest son Niklas. Both boys have started last week soccer practice and they both like it. These photos were taken during practice.. he was enjoying it, after that they had a game and his team was loosing.. boy oh boy… he was so upset he did not want to play anymore. hahaha. I will see how things are today.

Niklas_soccer_2_re

Alright.. and here is my card inspired by my soccer boys :-) I think it is nice that Motivet has quite a few stamps what work for spots themed cards, especially when it comes to boys. To fill up and decorate the card i went with buttons instead of flowers.

Follow Your Heart

Hello thank you so much for your visit today.

I'm running kind of late this morning so i will make it short. The other day i have organized some of my papers – it is always kind of a mess, especially with the 6x6 paper packs were all the sheets are getting loose after i have used like half of the pack.

Anyhow.. so i add all those sheets in a clear plastic envelope so they are protected and i find this cute paper from a older Basic Grey line called “Lily Kate”.  The branches reminded me on the ones i have seen on my cute Motivet Eddie stamp and there was my starting point for the card. I did add some flowers to the card but the ribbon – not sure if you can tell on the photo is  heavy felt and i have distressed the edges and sewed kind of crooked :-) so i hop it tones the feminine touch a bit down.

Folow_Your_Heart_re

Stamps: Motivet “Eddie with Willow branch
Sentiment: Stampin up
Papers: Basic Grey “Lily Kate”
Embellishments: flat pearls, Stickles and Flowers by Cute Stamps and Cards

Thank you again for your visit – have a great day.
