Hope your day is filled with sunshine

Claudia_Rosa_Takie_3_re

Hi there… back with a card that really says “Spring” to me…. soo not matching the weather we have in Michigan. It is driving me nuts! Monday was ice rain and schools were closed, the next day it warms up to almost 12 Celsius, than it freezes again. I am such a mess, when the temperatures go up and down so quickly.

Anyhow… I have made this card for a very sweet lady. I think I have mentioned her name a few times on my blog… the card went to Pamela N., she is not a blogger, we have “met” online and she is such a sweet person that I just thought this card for her would make her happy.

Claudia_Rosa_Kitten Treats_4

I am on my final day of the Garage sale.It has not been too good for me. Its always so much work and lifting and its money wise never really done for me but I had a good time with Karen and I got rid of 3 kids bikes which took just space away. Today I want to try to sell 2 more bulky things and I will done. There went my “free and fun” kids free week. I can not believe it. I did not make it once to the movies.

LOVT peek

Claudia_Rosa_Blooming Day_1
which is no longer a peek anymore lol.. I bet you have seen this cutie already. I think it was all of our favorite when we saw a peek of the new designs. This one is called “Blooming Day” and the teddy stamp comes with a matching sentiment. Usually I do like my sentiments on the front of the card but it did not work out, so I tucked the sentiment to the inside on a tag.

Lili of the Valley goes Origami

Claudia_Rosa_Origami_GCH_2
Today I have a little quick gift card holder to show you. Its fairly quick made and perfect for gift giving and those little cute Lili of the Valley images. I had made it initially to give this my son’s teacher. I might put a tutorial up on my blog soon, how to make this. I am just so busy with my trip and the reno in my house has not even started yet.
Claudia_Rosa_Origami_GCH_1
To decorate the outside of the holder I used a image from the forth coming Cute Companion set – lots of sweet images and matching sentiments and in the inside I used one image of my favorite set Daisy Trio.  Finished the holder up with a sentiment tag, also by Lili of the Valley.

Thank you my dears.

Garden Fairies Gather Here…

This card is currently pending – but might become available for sale tomorrow.
Claudia_Rosa_Garden Fairy_1
Hello ladies… so excited to use those new Magnolia stamps. OMG.. I love this Fairy! I added a few older Magnolia stamps to the background. Unfortunately I was not able to pull the direct links to those stamps for you. They are older – released in 2007 I guess??? Adding the vines, was so easy and there is not much more coloring involved (just the masking took some extra time) and it does look like so much “MORE” if you know what I mean.

All missing lines after removing the mask can be easily fixed with a Copic Multi pen. I like my 0.05 mm one the most.
I wanted the card to be a bit darker – enchanted I guess Smile loved the purple Maja papers with it. Too sad I am almost out of this lovely paper.
Claudia_Rosa_Garden Fairy_2Stamps: Magnolia Sweden – Available trough Sir Stampalot

Vines can be found in Collection with the gnomes.. I forgot what it was called and I can not find the link to it

Again, the fern stamp is from an older collection.. I think the gnomes or forest Tilda and Edwin was in that collection. I totally forgot what it was called.
Claudia_Rosa_Garden Fairy_4
Here is a shot to show those cute butterflies a bit better. I added those to that felt vine stem I got at Michaels. The butterflies are by Pink Paislee.. I got them from my friend Rosa Armstrong, the vines can probably be found in a Prima Marketing Collection. Recollections is I think the daughter company from Prima. – Hope I was able to help you, with the infos where to get the things I used today.

Dreaming

Hi ladies.. sorry today I have a bunch of photos to show. I wanted to have 1 shot of the this card to show that all though it is a easel card how flat it actually folds. I like to add flowers and other embellishments, so the card stands up nicely however the added bulk makes such a card always harder to wrap and mail.
Claudia_Rosa_dreaming of everything wonderful_2
I always loved Magnolia’s pretty tulips.. however the focal point image does get quite large, but it’s nice if you just want to go with a simple card layout. I think there is not much space to worry about adding layers. giggle.. thinking of Danielle right now.. we were talking in Ottawa about all my layers. I know it got in the past months a bit out of control. Smile
Claudia_Rosa_dreaming of everything wonderful_4
Other than that.. pretty simple. Around Tilda I used a Warm Grey 50% to make her stand out against the background but added carefully some blue, to freshen the look a bit.
The large tag was given to me by my friend Rosa A. for Christmas, I found it perfect to tuck under the ribbon, for personal handwriting.

I am back home…

I have had a fabulous time in Ottawa. It was amazing to be able to meet my dear friend Danielle. OMG.. she is just such a sweet person. When I went upstairs to surprise Danielle in her room and she opened the door it was like we knew each other for a long time. We just chatted a storm Smile. We did mostly sight seeing things… Ottawa is just such a wonderful historic city, reminds me a lot about Germany, the way the old buildings look. On, I believe Tuesday we did in the morning some coloring but of course we chatted mostly about markers and stamping because hubby was not around. Danielle knows A LOT about all the different medias and honestly I learned a thing or two from her.
Claudia_Rosa_Iam there for you_1
We came home later than expected and when I came home I had to take care of all the laundry and the house. Pewh.. I did had a cat sitter and covered most of my furniture with sheets but boy.. I think the “stinkers” had a fight or two. I just pulled the links out for this card and noticed all the pretty new Magnolia dies Sir Stampalot has up now… wow.. what a bank breaker. I want most of them Smile

Spring Cleaning

Claudia_Rosa_Thanks for all you do_3
Hello friends.. have you started your spring cleaning??
Don’t you just love to do laundry Smile
awwhhh… all the wonderful things we are responsible for in the house Smile thought this sweet image drawn by Krista would be quite sweet to give to Mom or just somebody who does a lot for us. Iam always so grateful if somebody can help me out watching the boys if I have to go run someplace. It’s really the little things that matter the most
Claudia_Rosa_Thanks for all you do_1
I am so excited…we are currently in Ottawa, Canada and I am meeting my dear friend Danielle there. whoohoo… iam looking so forward to meet her in person and have a great time with her. If everything worked out the way planned it, we had dinner together last night and probably hang out today and colour some images in, in our hotel in Ottawa. Maybe we get some sightseeing done too.SmileDefenetly we will have fun. I will share some photos later this week. I hope to be back home on Friday or Thursday night.

Bring Back Beautiful Challenge Team ~ Flourishes

Bring Back Beautiful_edited-2
Hello again! Today I would like to share with you my first Design Team card for the Bring Back Beautiful Challenge! I am so excited to be invited to participate for Flourishes in this monthly challenge and also along with those wonderful talented Designers. Have you seen the wonderful Flourishes stamps? I love, love, love the all the flower sets the company has. OMG, how exciting to be able to do something different than cute cards.  For the ones of you who have not been on any of the Flourishes sites, it may be nice to know that Flourishes has several Challenges – you could check them all out going from the store site to all the Challenges, that are currently running. Bring Back Beautiful Challenge is a challenge that runs always 1 entire month, starting Mondays.

Claudia_Rosa_Flourishes_Happy Spring
For this month’s Bring Back Beautiful challenge, we’d like to honor those in our lives that bless us with their friendship with THE BEAUTY OF FRIENDSHIP. The challenge is just that simple – make a card or creation with a friend in mind! The Bring Back Beautiful Team did an amazing job showcasing all the ways you can send off some caring thoughts to those special people in our lives.

Flourishes stamps are clear acryl stamps – I love those cute little bunnies in the grass so much, so before it was too late to use this year I wanted to make a simple Spring card with “Spring has Sprung” to sent to dear Janice. I stamped the image onto Copic x-Press Cardstock with Memento ink and it stamped all details the very first time perfectly. Got to love that!!!

Wishing you Rainbows & Sunshine & some snapshots of my life

Hi there.. I wanted to show you a card with one of my very first Saturated Canary images. Got this cutie I think with my first batch of digis in fall and never used her. Now since it is Spring I have to use her before an other season passes Smile Went a little nuts on the embellishments in my opinion, for some reason I could not stop adding and adding and adding…
Claudia_Rosa_Rainbow_2
If I had time to make a post it note to cover her.. I think I would have liked some airbrushed clouds behind her.. I really would have liked that!!! It was just too much hassle with a digi image to figure out how to get it on my post it note to cover her.

Today I would love to share some pics with you I took as I walked by to get the photos of the memory card.
pixies new favorite space - Copy
Here is Pixie on her new favorite spot the kids bedroom  – I took one of our bookshelf's from the living room, flipped it over and have it in front of the large picture window. Most of our kids books fit perfectly in.

She loves her new spot with the best view in the house Smile I had to give her a little towel so she is nice and comfy Smile

orchids - CopyOn Sunday we went quick to the local garden store to purchase a couple of rose bushes to replace a evergreen bush in front of the house, which died and we found these wonderful Orchids. I absolutely love them, they were originally 35 bucks each and I got them on sale for 15.00 each. They are really pretty and tall. I almost want to go and get some more. I have no green thumb with Orchids lol
this is what I started last night after I had to open the entire work I did in the morning. what a pain in the neck.. I purchased the wrong pattern (kids size instead of baby size) you think I noticed that right away???? oh yes.. and than when I did.. I ordered again and got by accident the French version… what a start. The lady was really nice, she refunded me the money of the French pattern.
