Spooooookkyyyyyy

Hi friends…

a little late for my project for Just Magnolia/Just Hanglar. I had to make my project for our challenge last night.

Well… I printed my calendar sheet as usually but than sponged over the piece with Vintage photo. Than heat embossed with clear embossing powder – added a little bit of some silver for added sparkle over the piece.

Just For You

Hello friends…
As always.. Fridays is Just Magnolia/Just Hanglar Stanglar challenge and we have a Bingo card for you to play with.
Claudia_Rosa_just for you_4
I will make it short today because I have one more photo than usual.
This shot shows you a bit better the colors. I first went around the image with a light green – I wanted the card feel a spooky and grungy.. plus I wanted to pick up the colors of the DP (green bats) after blending the green with Gamsol I went over with cool grey 70% and added the night around my cute Hanglar bat girl.
Claudia_Rosa_just for you_1
Papers are a mix of different companies and pads. I used Maja Design, Basic Grey (Erie) and Making Memories (spider web).
Sentiment (Stampin up) was this time stamped onto white paper Smile after I was reading a comment on one of my cards over on the LOVT blog.
Claudia_Rosa_just for you_3

If you look at the corners of the bat paper.. I used
silver stickles (inside and outside) to create a little corner accents (used my index finger to get it in place).I have repeated this in the inside as well – and added also gems to the inside.
Claudia_Rosa_just for you_2
here is a shot where I think the bats show a bit better. Added some Stickles in Stardust to the wings to make them stand out a bit more and added eyes with a white gel pen. Flowers have tulle inside – I believe these are not available at Wild Orchid Crafts – not sure. I know I got mine through Magnolia.
Claudia_Rosa_just for you_5
The bat wings of the girl and the heart tail have some black gems as well. I just like how it gives the image some extra dimension when you hold it.
other supplies used
Copic: Express Blending cardstock
Stampin up oval punch
Black Satin Ribbon (Ribbon girl) corner piece (Wild Orchid Crafts)

Thank you Sharon for ordering a Halloween card using a Hanglar Stanglar image from me.

Best Wishes

Hello, hope you are all well…
today I have a few more pictures to show, so I am going to make my “blurb” short.
Claudia_Rosa_best wishes_5
Some of you may have noticed that I do use my Silhouette recently a lot on my cards. This time I used the cutting machine to create a spider web overlay.
Do not get me wrong… if you look at the detailed cuts… there was still a lot of hand detail work involved with my craft knife.

Claudia_Rosa_best wishes_4
The shape from the Silhouette library was the web frame (circle in the center) I downsized it so it would be the usual size for a 6x6 card plus my matting. Than I used some of the smaller patterned sheets of Basic Grey paper to add some color to the card. Next I used the Grand Spellbinder circles (Cute Stamps and Cards) to cut the paper behind the kids out. I made sure that the bats in the trees to the right top of my circle will show after I add my two images inside. Just a little bit stitching with the sewing machine to set the frame a bit more off against the web was added.

Claudia_Rosa_best wishes_1

This weeks challenge on Just Magnolia/Just Hanglar is “add a little bit glitter” so I just added some Stickles in Diamond (I like that it shows against the black cardstock in greenish) to the outside perimeters of the spider web.
Claudia_Rosa_best wishes_2
I colored both of the images on purpose with muted colors. Yes, most of the times I would probably color the girls dress in a different color than the boy’s.
To pick up the colors I first colored the wings in black and than added while the ink is still wet some purple to pick up the shades.
Claudia_Rosa_best wishes_3
Here is an other detail shot to show the tiny silver dots I added to the ends of the wings and the cute little scary cat charm which I got from my friend Carole. She always finds the cutest charms Smile

Witchy Greetings

Witch_top Happy Thursday to all of you… well. for some reason iam the entire week one day off lol… so for me it is Friday lol. seams iam ready for the weekend :-) The card for today is made for a fun challenge over on the Cute Card Thursday blog. Check it out we have again a fabulous prize up.
For my card.. i think you have it all seen before lol. The papers are the new Magnolia papers and have been sent to all the DT’s – there should be plenty of inspiration for those cute stamps and papers be on the blogs. I have created those big scallops with my Stampin up 1 3/8 circle punch but before i have punched it out i ran the black paper once though the Swiss dot embossing folder. I have gotten many wonderful flowers in my DTkit but as usually :-) i kind of like it simple so i just spritzed the entire card with Shimmerz “Babies Breath” and the black flower got a separate treatment on a piece of scrap paper and i tucked it under the big bow.
That’s it!Witch_re
So, if i could figure out how to do the “wrap around text on my pictures that would be nice too :-)

HappY Boo to YoU!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today's card is made for Cute Cards Thursdays challenge to use "Black and Yellow". Well... you will not find many yellow cards on my blog. It is just not my color. For my card i choosed a piece of black Reminice paper, that has all over black sparkly swirls (still shows though the acetate on top) and used a piece of left over foil with some silver spider web on. I used Martha Stewart Zig Zag punch on the foil to give it some interest since there was not a very big piece left. I have stamped the cute Hanglar bug onto Neenah Ultra smooth card stock with Memento black ink and colored him/her with several yellows and grey Copic Sketch markers in. I thank added to the wings Yellow Stickles and some Star Dust to the top.
After that was done, i started to pick some embellishments, the flowers from Prima Marketings white Big Bloom Bucket had the perfect shape, kind of like the wings from the bug. All what i did was spritzed them with the Shimmerz Licorice Miniz Spritz and OMG... i think this is now one of my favorites. This Spritz leaves a wonderful visible silver shimmer on everything.

Recipe:
Stamps: Hanglar Stanglar (not available if you do not have a mailing address in Norway or Sweden)
Papers: Stampin up (Yo-Yo Yellow, Basic Black), Reminice (foil Halloween and DP Graduation Collection )
Embellishments: Shimmerz Spritz Miniz (Licorice), Robins Nest (yellow), Prima Marketing (flowers), Stampin up (black grosgrain), Stickles (Yellow and Stardust), Bead heads (Quixotic cards),
Copic Sketch: Face/Hair: e000, e50, e00, e17,e11, e31, e15, r20, clothes: c5, c9, c6, 110, c0, c7, y18, y11, y19, y15, Halo/ ground: w0, w3, w2, w1, W5, W6

A Witch's Hug

Hello, it is time for a great sketch to follow over on the Friday Sketcher blog.. my friend Jacque came up with a great idea. Time for a Halloween card.. i can not believe it how late iam this year. Choosed for my card one of the sweet Hanglars and colored her to match the new Basic Grey paper. Check out the spider.. i have played these days a lot with different colors of Stickles. I really have neglected those fun glues. on this card i have used Lime Green to extra highlight the papers on the outer edge of the card base and covered the entire spider (Martha Stewart punch) with green Stickles and than on top of that, i squeezed some "Star Dust" on too ("Black Widdow" style ya know lol)
Don't forget tomorrow's the big Stampers United blog hop at 6:00 EDT :-)

Stamps: Hanglar Stanglar
Embellishments: "hug" American Crafts, Stickles, Flowers: Prima Marketing, BoBunny, Ribbon (Stampin up - retired), Jute (gift from Carole - i think you can order it at Elaines store Quixotic), Robins Nest "Fresh Mowed Grass"

Halloween

Hello and thank you for vistiting me today. Have you had a chance yet to take a look at the new sketch over on the Friday Sketcher blog designed by Jacquline? Well.. this one.. must say was a tricky one for me but the Design Team came up with many ideas and iam sure you will find some inspiration for your card. I have used the sektch to use up some of my acetate sheets i still had from my Scrapbooking beginnings :-)
Added some Shimmerz paints to the pumpkins in Marigold and Celery to the bag and leaves.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments since the last week.
My family left Sunday our home and on Tuesday morning we left Michigan at 4 am. it took us almost 16 hours longer to arrive at our destination in Florida as we had planned. We were on the road with the boys almost 2 days! On the way down to Miami, we stopped in Orlando to just grab some dinner and strech the legs, we took by accident a wrong exit and drove by the CHA expo center. OMG.. i was not expecting the complex beeing sooo hudge. If you are going down to Orlando at that time.. make sure you bring some rain gear. IT WAS POORING literally in seconds it was white in front of us.. i totally forgot that it is Floridas hurricane season at the moment. However today we went to Hollywood beach (close by Fort Lauderdale) and it was like you would expect from Florida. Hot and the ocean warm like a bathtub. I have my first sunburn and typing this laying on my tummy autsch :-)

Boo! To You!

Hello and happy Tuesday! Today i would like to show you a card i have made using this weeks Ismaki sketch. The dimensions of this card are a bit bigger than the long card i have made a couple of weeks back using the Sarah Kay image because i wanted to create a little szene with the very new Magnolia Halloween stamps. This card fits into the standard SU large envelope.
