LOVT Romantic sneak peek

Hello, today I can show you a sample of the new Lili of the Valley images. They will be released on Monday 21.

newromanticweb

The image I had to use, was not really my first choice. All the ones I wanted to make a card with were already picked, Sad smile YOU GOT TO BE FAST when choosing images.. who snoozes looses Smile I should know better by now.
I just like to color and this image barely has any space to color, if you come to my blog for a while.. you also notice that I hardly ever make Wedding cards or baby cards.. its just not my thing, as you can tell I am not too happy with my sample.
Oh well…. moving on.

However … the image might be a really good choice, for those who need a cute stamp to mass produce little Wedding invites or “Thank you” notes?!

2 Peas awhh.. kitten in a pod

Hello ladies…
I am still trying to catch up with the season appropriate cards. This is the first year I feel I am dragging behind. The “master plan” for 2013 is that I make at least 1 Christmas card per month throughout the year. geezzz…. I have gotten all those lovely Magnolia stamps and barely had a chance to use those.
Anyhow.. time for those Valentines cards… this period to make those kind of cards is way to short anyways. I found this animal printed paper in a Basic Grey pad (black dress) and I never used any of the papers… but the print of this sheet was nice and small and spiced up with just some pinks it turned out really cute with this new kitten stamp from Lili of the Valley.

Merry Christmas

Claudia_Rosa_Christmas Penguins_2

Hello, thank you for your visit. Today I had a little spare time to make a card. I knew I wanted to give this year a ITunes card away – they are always great for kids or adults plus gift cards are so lightweight it’s a good pick for those presents that go overseas Smile

LOVT November release sneak peek

Hello,

Soooo hard for me! I always thought… men! I wished I would have had a chance to practice water coloring BEFORE that challenge came around, but as always time flew and I quickly made this one yesterday.

The card features a soon to released “baby” image by Lili of the Valley. It is called starry bunny and as some of the other recent images it is quite interesting with the frame the artist drew around the image to frame it additionally. I checked if the image would fit in a circular shape of my largest Spellbinder die and it did fit! Which is always neat, at the end however I cut my focal point picture into a square – lots of shapes going on, on my card Smile

A batch of easy Christmas “Thank you” notes

Hi there, I have had one of these weeks where I did want to craft but hardly found the time to do so.
So today I would like to show you a few simple cards I have made using Magnolia Mini stamps.

All card bases came from Michaels $1 Dollar bin and were on sale 50 percent off so I got by example the pack of 6 cards you see on the first photo (with gold embossed frame and “Thank you” really inexpensive.Claudia_Rosa_Mini_Thank you_3

I did keep the set of blue cards on purpose rather simple and flat, because they went into my personal mail and the first card went as sample to Sir Stampalot. Did you know that Janice and Andy have a selection of Magnolia Mini stamps? It is just hard to locate them on the web page. Please click on the link and it will get you right there.
As you can tell.. this week was really busy, I did not even bother to carry the 3 cards into my photo tent. I took the photo of the cards in front of my stamp storage. All my stamps are stored by collection in a plastic clam shell container, they can be easily labeled with a Dymo writer if you need or just leave it. They are my best investment for small craft areas. You can stack them really neatly on top of each other or sideways, you can see what you have in them and just pull it out. They do NOT open! I have everything sorted in them… from flowers by color, brads, bling stickers, lace , buttons and so on you name it. While I was in England this year I noticed in the shop that Sir Stampalot does carry them. If you like to have a look, hey are available 3 different sizes, thin, medium thick and the largest, like you see on in my photo.

I almost want to apologize for my rather basic cards I show you today Smile but I do need them often for my personal use and I do not always post them on my blog because I feel like that’s not what you guys really want to see Smile

hugs

Magical Birthday

Hello, here is an other peek card of the newest Lili of the Valley Fairy and Mermaid collection. I choose one card from the Mermaids and one from the Fairies. I think I was able to find some papers to match with the fairy so the card does not look too summery and can be used at this time of the year.

If you like this card – I just listed it for sale over on Etsy. thank you very much for your consideration!

Claudia_Rosa_Fairy with bug_4

There is a little “twist” on this card than my other cards. The focal point image is adhered over an other flap that opens and can reveal a sentiment, a handwritten or even a little photo. (All sides are decorated with Designer paper)

Sending A Kiss

Don't forget... FREE demos this Saturday at Sir Stampalot, Peterborough

Demo Day

Hi there… Well as you can tell.. I can’t really get all into back into Christmas. I have made in September some things for Magnolia Ink and after that I had a hard time getting all back. I still have one larger 3 D item sitting behind me to finish up which obviously I did not get ready to post to Sweden. Oh well..
Today I have a little Saturated Canary card to share (BTW… I did list the Magnolia card from yesterday and this card over on Etsy – if you are interested?)

Claudia_Rosa_Circus Trixie_2

I wanted color Circus Trixie in for a long time! I was a bit intimidated by the layers and her hair but boy it was so fun to do it and time flew by quickly. I think I was inspired by Lili of the Valley’s lovely paper pad.. it matched perfectly the image.. it gave me tiny hearts like the one Trixie has on her cheek and some papers that have no flowers on them. I must say I do like that option in a pad. For my card I used plaid, polka dots and the hearts you can probably see it better on some of the next pictures.

Claudia_Rosa_Circus Trixie_1

These are the supplies I used:

Stamps: Circus Trixie can be found at Little Darlings shop if you are in the USA or if you like you can purchase her at Sir Stampalot
Sentiment: Stampin up
Papers: Lili of the Valley “Bonnets and Booties” – Stampin up and Bazzil
Coloring: Copics and Prismacolor
Dies: Magnolia – Tag and Star
Additional: Blending Solution, Blending Stumps, Memento, Flowers, Bakers Twine

Claudia_Rosa_Circus Trixie_3

Claudia_Rosa_Circus Trixie_4
Dies: Magnolia Tag and heart
Inside is still blank, since the card is listed on Etsy I can stamp a matching sentiment after a request.
Speaking of Etsy, did you spot the lovely digital papers Mindy designs?
I knew that Little Darlings has some of her cool and modern designs as 6x6 paper pads but now for those of you who like Digital papers have a look.. they are gorgeous and I am sure Mindy is coming up with many more – so keep an eye out for those.

Get Well Soon

Claudia_Rosa_vintage girl on swing_1

Hello friends, I totally forgot to post today Smile I stumbled and fell down the basement stairs on Friday morning and my old body is bruised and hurts like hell. Have been hardly moving or sleeping the past couple of days. hahaha.. I swear… I feel on my left knee cap and on my thigh on the right, both of my arms are hurting because I tried to catch myself and than at the end, elegantly fell with my chest (poor boob) on the edge of a couch. I must say I am happy about that, as I was falling all I could think of were my teeth. Do you ever feel like that? I always worry about my teeth! There are no worse trips for me than to the dentist or the pain.
