Magnolia Album

Dont forget to check out my Blog candy

Here is my submission for this weeks Magnolia Challenge Blog. The task this week is to use "recycled" items. This week was good for me... i had plenty of ideas :-) infact the little holder to give stamped image as a gift was my first idea to recycle the cardboard or Kellogsbox for the cover. For this fotoalbum i was not really sure if it would work for the challenge so i asked Donna cause my items are not really obviously.. and i am sure you know what i mean. :-) and she said it's okay. This project uses a wooden stick from the kitchen (you know the one you use in summer to make meat and veggies on the bbq) in german the name for is "Schaschlik-Spiess" and a old elastic hairband that was too streched out to use with my hair. You can see a better pic of these items on the bottom of all the picutures and i will post a tutorial on how to make this album in a seperate post - this would be otherwise to many pics.

If you like visit tomorrow my blog again and i can show you a card using a recycled item from my husbands workshop. i made it for Bea's sketch Ismaki challenge and the Magnolia Design Challenge Blog but now since you can win a prize this week i can not link a second project. The prize is ALL for you girls!!! :-)

This litte photoalbum uses half of a Stampin up "Simply Scrapping Kit" and some Palette O' Prints Designer Paper plus coordinating Stampin up CS. Decoration tip: you could also attach to the bamboo spine lots of different colors of ribbon to hide the stick and to make it more "girly" - i could not do that cause otherwise you could not see my recycled items.
