Baby, It's Still Cold Outside

This week's challenge over at Artzy Girls Challenge Blog is 'Frames' so you could use cardstock to make a frame, do a stitched frame, a buttoned frame, alter a frame, doodle a frame.
Since we got some more snow just yesterday i thought it is a great reason to use one of my images i got from Tammi. I hope we will have soon spring weather and than i cant use her for a very long time anymore. Tilda was colored a while ago... she is very cute i love all the details on her sweater and her pants.
Now for the card. I first used my snowflake CB embossing folder to emboss the white CS, than i cut a oval with my Coluzzle template (Stampin up) inside the center. Next i cut a smaller oval in bashful blue cs and distressed the inner side of the oval with Tim Holz Tonic Paper Distresser. Stampin up's "Lovely as a Tree" was stamped with brown Versafine onto white CS, i added some birds with pencil in the background (because i love how Sophia does that). Than i covered the entire piece of cs with spray adhesive and glued a dryer sheet (used and ironed before used on card) over it. While the glue is still wet i used a brush and slightly dabbed Dazzeling Diamond Dust over the entire piece. I love this technique - it is soooo pretty in real live. Almost like a cold winter day when the snow falls down and it's kind of foggy outside. Thats the illusion you will achive. Glued all the layers together and stamped on the white panel behind the Real Red some swirls (Rhonna Farrer) with Grey ink. Finishing touches are some silver brads and blue Stampin up Taffeta Ribbon.

Eigentlich bin ich, auf Grund unserer milden Temperaturen, schon fast wieder in Frühlingsstimmung, aber mit der Karte wünsche ich mich doch glatt in den Tiefschnee zurück! Eine fabelhafte Szene!

And your daughter is BEAUTIFUL !!!
I bet she had a blast in the snow.
We have been lucky so far here in Indiana we haven't had more than a couple inches at a time. I am so ready for spring though

I love this card ( as usual with your work)! And thanks so much for the compliment. Your hand added elements look lovely ( i love how it only takes a couple strokes of the pencil to make it special). Great coloring and layout, That window looks awsome, especailly with the glitter :).
