Envelope Bag

hahahaha… seams it is the week of bags on my blog Smilenot intentionally I swear!!!

There is a birthday coming up from one of my dear friends.. aim not saying aaanyyyything Smile we said this year we are not going to give large gifts.. just exchange some handmade things. I can tell you… the 3 handmade things I have received are soooo gorgeous. BTW.. thank you so much for all the wonderful Birthday wishes I have received from you yesterday Smile must say iam a bit hung over today, I think I had one too many glasses of wine lol.

but lets not talk about thatSmile
This week we want to see over on Cute Card Thursday “Pinch a Punch” on your work. On this bag I used Stampin up’s Word Window punch and Martha Stewart’s small Monarch Butterfly
The bag is made with papers by Stampin up – I must say I usually like the Scandinavian papers so much more than the stuff we can get here because they are so nice an thick, however if you want to cover something, the thin papers are just easier to wrap around corners.

I have made these bags long before I have even started to blog – they are perfect to add little gifts. Stamps fit nicely in or think about all the lovely dies you can add to give to your friend? I definitely will make an other one styled for Christmas. It took me not any longer to make this bag than a card would have taken.

As for other supplies… you do not need much
just some heavy cardboard – cut to size – if you do not have this – reuse your cereal boxes or any other packaging material.
Stamp: Tilda writing Diary from Sir Stampalot – she would be cute also for school cards – iam getting more and more convinced that we will not see any new school images in time Sad smile bummer.
Spellbinders circle dies (scalloped and plain), some Ribbons and lace found at The Ribbon Girl, flowers (Wild Orchid Crafts), Aging (Distress inksBlending Tool), Tag die Spellbinders (this one has a great size) – Sentiment Stampin up

I've made some that look similar to yours (at least in the basic structure, not the decorating!) Yours is VERY pretty! I'll join the chorus for a tutorial.
