Hi there… today I have something to show which is quite unusual for my blog.
Normally everything I show on my blog include colored images, but some of you know how much I like simple cards. This is actually how I started to stamp in the first place. Sometimes you just do not have the time or need a card for people who do not know how much time it takes to color a image.
The other day I enjoyed some stamping time with supplies that have been sitting on my desk…
The entire idea came together when my sweet friend Heidi asked me to make a birthday card for her pretty daughter Martine. She said Martine likes pink… Heidi likes Lili of the Valley but I thought omg.. I do not have a daughter, iiiiii love castles and glitter ect. hahahah. So Heidi.. if you read this… the 10 party favor fairytale gift bags are for you. Hopefully you can use them. I will work on the card later this week.
Every edge has been aged with Vintage photo. The vines on the castle are Stickled, the bags are pre-scored and I punched holes in them so the ribbon can be threaded.
My “simple” card ended up been not that simple considered how much time it took. It would not be me, if there would be no sewing on the card, right
Added a couple of layers to mat and added pink gemstones. Decorated some kraft envelopes to match the card.
If you like this pretty castle as well – Thanks dear Crissy for giving me this pretty stamp – I noticed that Sir Stampalot has that one for sale. It is currently out of stock but iam sure you could email Janice support@sirstampalot.co.uk to ask when it is back in. We got that stamp probably 1 year ago to use it with the Magnolia Fairytale collection.
