Video Coloring part 2 & new Magnolia Christmas release

Hi there, i am back with a second posting showing you the card i made for today’s challenge over on Cute Card Thursday. The theme is “Butterflies and Bugs” Well, honestly .. i got to make my Christmas cards.. i really did not waste AAAANYYYY more time.

Looking through my papers i found just the right solution in my Webster 6x6 pack. You can see in the close up shot – in the tree are lots of butterflies… AAAND surpriiise of course i finally wanted to use the new Tilda stamp i got. I know you have seen her before. She is in mini format included in the new kit – thats just been shipped. I do no longer purchase the kit, as you might have noticed in the past. However i must say this time it is a tough, the stamps are really once again super sweet – they will be all shortly available through Sir Stampalot. Janice has the new collections always very fast in the store, so iam not too worried that i have to wait a bit.

Back to the card. To add more dimension to the tree, i carefully added some glue and sprinkled ultrafine glitter on it – let dry – shake excess off, for the snow effect. The best glitter for that i find is Stampin up’s Dazzeling Diamond Dust. I use it since years and never get tiered of it.
Between the little branches i stuck a die cut piece of Magnolia’s Doohickey’s Dragonflies. Love this die!

I am also ready to show you the second part of the coloring video. We had to cut the video in parts. This one shows you how i color the dress – the face coloring is in my first posting for today

Wunderschoene Karte. Die Farben vom DP und der suesse Engel und that spray of little flowers look absolutely darling.

Amazing coloring!!! Is there any way you could post the colors that you were using on her dress ?? I would really love to learn from you but I couldn't catch the colors numbers from the video. Hope you won't mind to share the info with us. Thanks and lots of lovs to you.

It's my first time visiting your blog today, but I simply LOVE your cards! Especially your stamp motives and how you colour them! I really want to learn how to colour mine as well, but I can't say I have succeeded just yet. I use Distress Ink Refill bottles, what do you use when colouring? Do you have to use water during colouring, or do you just lay layer upon layer with the same colour?
