Hello, i was recently asked how i used my corner punch on this card sample (princess crown). I thought this was a nice opportunity to use this email as inspiration for my monthly tutorial on the Whiff Of Joy Inspiration blog.
I have bought several of the Martha Stewart punch sets just because i liked the border punch but the corner punches i never used. So the other day i just played a little bit with them and i have found that they make really nice “paper doilies” or an additional layer to mat my focal point images. I hope you will find the step-by-step pictures helpful. For my card i chose Melinda who i adore.. thought this card is very pretty for a Mothers Day card or “Thank you note”. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey’s Wisteria line, the flowers looked so romantic with the image and i did not want to cover them up with more papers.. so it is a simple card which is very light weight and easy to mail at the end.

Ooh, Claudia, your paper doily is way cool. I did something similar, but with the border punches. If you're interested, see my tutorial here. Thanks for sharing. I love learning new techniques. And yeah, I never get much use of those corner punches.
