New Love Collection cards - Save The Date

Hello, as promised i am back with a card for my blog today. Thank you so much for your kind comments on my Copic posting from earlier today :-) I finished this morning our CBC#2 card (a challenge to use a stamp out of a previous collection) and i was able to get all the pictures taken on how i color faces and i will post this tomorrow as well.

As you know Magnolia does not only sent their DTM always a wonderful collection of new stamp releases, no, we also receive in each envelope some supplies - so we are able to make the cards we have to sent back to Sweden. For this card i was inspired by this very cute gingham pink and yellow patterned paper (sorry no brand name on the back of this sheet). There was no second matching contrasting paper sent, so i used one of the paper doilies from a previous kit to give my card some extra interest. I sat Tilda on a calender print out which you can find at Regina's Cutting Cafe. This calender is so versatile and i think this card will look so cute on a desk. My husbands birthday is on February 14 and iam sure he would love this card too. I added some Stickles to the layers and Febuary 14 is high lightened with a pink gem stone. The ribbon is from my stash.. it is a Stampin up ribbon called "So Saffron Poly Twill".

This cutie Tilda is called: Tilda LC09 from the Love Collection - you can find in the LOVE Collection many stamps that can be used all year round!

Morning everybody!

Aw, wow, I simply adore your card designs, perfect for Valentine's Day! I really wish I had your talent, and could make my own greetings cards like you do! Oh yes, it is that time of year again! Valentine's Day is coming up fast! Not sure how everyone else feels about February 14th, but I always seem to get really stressed out! I always send my friends a Valentine's Day text message, just to say hi! However I find a text message a bit dull, but I have found a different way to send a greeting which has a much more vibrant, and upbeat feel about it! My friend Lizzy first introduced me to the world of electronic greetings about a year ago when she went back packing around Australia. She said she found it hard to write letters, and she didn't always have a mobile phone signal! So whenever she had the chance she would go into an internet cafe and send an e-Card. This method is such a great way to keep in touch with friends, and family. With Valentine's Day coming up I think it is a good way to just send a little surprise greeting. I have done my research, and tried out loads of different sites, but I have now finally found the best Free Valentine’s Day e-Card site for me. This site has both romantic, and funny, light hearted Valentine's Day e-Cards, so there is a card to suit everyone! E-Cards are not for everyone, but I think they are definitely worth a try! Just wanted to share my thoughts and findings with you all! Have a lovely Valentine's Day whatever you decide to get up tom but please just make sure you secure all your plans in advance, otherwise you will be rushing around in a mad panic trying to sort everything out! Too much stress for my liking! Warm wishes! Nic
