Santa

Today is quick and simple. I wanted to use with this Santa Claus image a really pure red paper but it was quite hard to find some this year. So, used a piece of "left over" paper that i had from a previous card but had no paper for layering. However, i love that this way the pretty sparkly poinsettia flowers on that paper show a lot. On Santa i used a Copic Spica Glitter pen in silver for the beard and gold on his belt. Airbrushing the outside of the image and to "age" the circular sentiment with CCopic color E31. If you have not yet decided what you want to tell your Santa what is on your wishlist lol.. that compressor for the Copics is really really fabulous. I use mine now on each card. Stitching is done with gold thread, double sewing - so it really shows. This card is part of a set. Since these days i barely can keep up with card making i will show you the other "thing" an other day :-) I wished i had more time to make enough, so i could have it up today as well.
