Bonjour in Paris

This weeks challenge over on the Arty Girlz Challenge blog is "Open Theme" how fun. I would like to show you a card i made with the very new Magnolia Eifel Tower. I used some of the Desiner Paper , which you can find in Magnolia's online store, as backdrop to stamp my Tower on. It has on the edges different shades of greens, browns and blues but it is still so "dezent" (do not know the english word for that :-) so you can easily stamp on it and the image does take center stage and not the paper. I must say i was tempted to use my "Shabby Chic" stamps with the tower but i could not resist "Paris Tilda". She is just so cute. I would like to point out that she is one of the Magnolias that has no wings. I know from some of you, that you prefer Magnolias without wings. After i colored her with Stampin up re-inkers i cut her out, added some foam spacer and added her to the card. Stickles is added to her socks :-) i think i can not be without Stickles hehehe
Sentiment: Stampin up: Carte Postale (i love this set but it gets the most use out of it since i have my Magnolia stamps. It works soooo well with them)
Papers: Bravo Burgandy (Stampin up), some Designer Paper can also be found at Magnolias online store. Other i do not remember the brand it was a piece of scrap.
I just remembered tomorrow is May 1.... one of my favorite Holidays back in Germany aahhhh...
i remember when I went with my friends for a walk with the beer on a wooden wagon (kind of the Radio Flyer ones :-). May 1 was also that day when we took our motorbycicles out of the garage and we drove for a long weekend down to Italy Lago di Garda. I would be interested if you did not take a day of work what your plans are for tomorrow? Iam sure most of you will have a fabulous BBQ in the backyard :-) aahhhh.. can you tell.. iam getting homesick
