Hello dears…I want to keep it sweet and short because I know you might be busy to prepare for your New Years party.. however I would love to show you with my card for today a little sneaky peek on what you can expect really soon from Little Darlings.
The company is going to release along with some REALLY cute rubberstamps in the Saturated Canary line AND a new artist will also be introduced but let me show you something different, the new Little Darlings Design papers. Now, I am sure you have seen the 6x6 paper pads Little Darlings released in Summer.. the new papers come as 12x12 sheets, they are all double sided and I can tell you those prints work wonderful if you cut them down to a 6x6 format or even smaller. I have had the fun being right at Angie’s house when the papers arrived and what can I say… as we opened the boxes I snatched myself a sheet each and I was able to use pretty much each sheet on some projects already. I really enjoyed working with them, they distress nicely with a pair of scissors (the papers are not too thin and have a nice grip), they worked well to cover 3 D projects and of course my cards.
I know some of you have completely gone away purchasing 12x12 papers for card making – so did I – but the prints of the new Little Darlings “Fruit basket” line and “Summer Sorbet” are great and still show even if you have 3 layers on your card. The card I have made uses actually papers from both lines and you see how well you can mix and match them. As far I know the papers are going to be available from the retail stores and through Little Darlings web page. The image I used is the cute little Chinese lady from the last Little Darlings – Saturated Canary line, called “Cherry Blossom” I am sure you have seen her already.
