Hello friends…
how was your Halloween yesterday?
OMG.. I was so late with the treats I decorated for the boys… I disguised 40 Hershey chocolate bars as mummies it was a lot of work and I was running late with all the wrapping. That being said.. I had planned to post a photo of those yesterday but I completely forgot to even take a photo of the lot.
Teachers told me that they were a hit and one teacher wants to make them herself next year YEAH!!! Things like that makes my day
Anyways.. today I would like to show you the kitchen towel I have made for Sir STAMPALOTS event last Saturday and I got notice from Janice that all my things made it in time to England, so I know some of you have seen them already in the shop.
Things like the towels are such nice gift ideas and quickly made. You could make a towel like that and use the cloth as wrapping for some homemade goodies.. tie it on the top with a bow, add a nice tag – DONE.
Coloring takes a bit of practice. The Copics run like crazy on the fabric. You got to be very quick and do not add the tip of the pen too close to the stamped outline. If you use VersaCraft inkpad the towel is completely usable and you can wash the towel.
Here are the supplies I used
Pink kitchen towels came in a set of two found at IKEA
Stamp: Tilda with lovely Jam
Sentiment: Amuse (retiered)
Ink: Versa Craft
Coloring: Copic Sketch
