Delight In Simple Things

Claudia_Rosa_Delight in Simple things_1
Hello dear friends… have you had a chance to swing by over on the Just Magnolia Challenge blog?
For this week we have a color challenge for you “GREEN”. Well.. I have to tell you.. green is probably my least favorite color. I have some bad childhood memories with this color. OMG.. let me waffle a bit today…

Well.. green is my mothers favorite color.. everything pretty much had to be in green and when she ordered new furniture for my bedroom of course all cabinets had to be green. I was devastated and I remember even now.. 30+ years later the major temper tantrum I gave her in my room lol. Not only does she love to decorate in green noooo… she also loved the smell of cut grass, yeiks.. sorry but I get sick to my stomach with this smell.. especially when big mowers of farmers cut the fields.

Anyway…. so the color challenge is green lol… I guess because of Saint Patrick's day??? I never need a card for this occasion so I went with some juicy colors from Magnolia’s last years Spring collection Sweet Rainbow and made a more Spring/Summer card with it. I love this collection and there are still some stamps I never inked up yet. This Tilda is just one of them…

Since I listed this card on Etsy and some of you asked me to post here and there a shot how I decorate the inside of my cards.. I have an additional shot for you today.
Well off now.. just when I thought I can catch up with some cards … my kids got sick. Hopefully last time for this winter season!
with love
Claudia

Hello Claudia! I smiled at your story... my mother's favourite color is green, and she always bought me stuff to wear in green, and I hated it. Green is not one of the colors I feel good about, and happy to look at! but your card is a delight for my eyes. just sooo beautiful, with strawberries which are something I love. Tilda of course is wonderful, so beautifully colored and sooo sweet as a good strawberry! have a wonderful weekend sweetie. Hugs.

I am not a big fan of green either, but I do love the smell of cut grass, just as well as I live surrounded by fields..lol...xx

Gorgeous card Claudia, this Tilda is so sweet and the yummy strawberries are making my mouth water ! I had a green bedroom too when I was a child, somebody gave my Mother a tin of green paint and because we didn`t have much money she used it everywhere, so I don`t like green much now as well ! hugs Sara xx
