A Vintage LOVT Card

Hello my friends. Back today with a totally different type of card than yesterday. My friend Sonja requested a card with this cute LOVT image called “Swing Time” and i thought it was a perfect motif to go in an other direction than the card bright Magnolia card from yesterday.

Claudia_Rosa_LOVT_Thank you Dog 1

I do not have many pictures to show today… puh.. we are awaiting this big snow storm to hit us today. Girls, if you grew up like i did in a smaller town of Germany i have never seen anything like this before. Our grocery stores are huge… but yesterday all 30 check out lanes were over flowing with people and some of the shelves where even empty. I could not get out in time to pick up my kids, so today i had to go again to stock up. of course got myself some glue (tape, Aileen and Scott) just in case aim stuck here for a while and at least i can hug and play with my Copics. If you do not hear from me, you know it’s cause i am most likely with out power and freezing my behind off hahahaha. I think i have to better go to a store to get some fire wood as well.

Alright see you all soon. Hugs

Claudia, once again you out did yourself with this magnificent creation. The colors are so warm. Your attention to detail is amazing.

Glad you stocked up on the essentials.. Glue,etc... We are expecting 2-6" I guess after it hits you, but what scares me the most is the ice storm afterwards..they say it will really be bad. I am tired of cleaning off my car at 6:30 in the morning.. Not fun..lol.

Hi Claudia, thank you so much for your concern, you're such a sweet friend!! This afternoon I was at the dentist and it turned out that they used too much cement for gluing down the temporary crown. The crown had to be placed quite deep so the excess cement that came out at the sides was underneath the gums and therefore invisible to the eye. That was causing the pain. So he removed the crown and the cement and glued it down again using less cement and cleaning away any excess that came out (which was quite painful cause that was deep underneath my gums) but the pain is gone woohoo!!
Wow, quite a story eeh?! Well I'm glad to hear your pain is gone too (and without a root canal LOL). I just love this card you made, such deep vivid colours, gorgeous!! The image is adorable isn't it?! Big hug, Frea
