A Summer Day…

…. definitely can use some money for ice cream or other fun stuff.

OMG… just when i have most of my cards ready for the time when we are gone, i received the new Whiff Of Joy Summer Kit “ Fun in the Sun”stamps. I had to make a card with this cute boy… especially since i had this layout in my mind since Cute Card Thursdays Challenge a couple of weeks back.

I thought this image works great for a teenage boy to give some money. In our case I was thinking to give it to the neighbor’s kid for taking care of our yard during the time we are gone. I did not want to “waste” my expensive embellishments because i know kids in that age, rather care about what’s inside the card :-) than what stuff i add. So the layout i hope make’s the card hopefully a bit more exciting than a simple square one.
