Today’s card i made for our Challenge over on Cute Card Thursday the theme for this week is “Lucky Green”. I do not need any St. Patrick Day cards this year, so i went with one of the great new Whiff Of Joy stamps. This boy stamp can be found in the “Store Stamp Kit #1” and the sentiment is from the “Stamp Kit #1 2010”. I think Oakley is wonderful to make “guy” cards.
What i like about this card is, that i was able to use all the different scraps i have created with my recent cards and on top of that.. look at it.. the costs to make that a card are pretty low because there are no expensive flowers on it or other pricey embellishments.
I imagine most guys would probably not keep a card like this in a keepsakes box like we woman do, they probably get it, read it and toss it in the trash can :-) right?!
Stamps: all stamps by “Whiff Of Joy “ the store stamp kit #1 can only be purchased through one of the excluse retailers who carry this set. May i suggest Cute Stamps and Cards? Not only has the store a fantastic selection of stamps and supplies.. nooo. Jacqueline is one of “us” :-) she and Katharina from Whiff Of Joy started both as a stampers like we all and than they took the leap to open her small business. I love to support those small stores in those though times.
Papers: Basic Grey
Embellishments: Stamping up (Chocolate Chip ribbon, hemp twine), buttons from stash,
Tools: Nestabilities, Martha Stewart (dot border punch), Stampin up (scalloped border punch) and sewing machine
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Color Box chalk (creamy brown)
Coloring: Copic Sketch

Love that you used your left over scraps to make this card. I have been trying to do that also and this card is just fab. Love the boy cards as I have sons. God bless & keep warm. I am in Florida and it is even cold here but nothing like you have been experiencing.

Love the image, I find it so hard to do the "man" card and you did a super job. Love all the combo of papers and colors that you used--even the sewing is even! Great card
