Hello my friends. Finally today i can show you part of my “Pirate Set” which i have made back in October last year for Magnolia INK II. Well.. as you might know, because you have the magazine.. it did not make the cut :-)
I do not quite exactly know in which Collection those Magnolia stamps can be found. They must be from 2006 or 2007, definitely before i have started to be a DT for Magnolia. All stamps you can see, were provided from Magnolia for me to come up with an idea to make a card for the Magazine.
Papers are from my own stash. Both cards and the card from tomorrow are made with 1 sheet of double sided 12x12 Design Paper.
This card is a 5.5 x 5.5 card and i had to paper piece a tiny bit to make it happen. If you take a close look at the black and red paper the cut line is underneath Edwin's foot in the black stripe.
The sentiment is from Magnolia’s Chasing Butterfly Collection 2009 and i have embossed it with “Pirate” Gold Detail embossing powder. The Scroll in the top left corner is by Melissa Frances and it as well as some of the Prima roses got a good treatment of several colors of Shimmerz Spritz in Licorice and some Shimmers paints.
This card is a 6x6 card. Not much to say about it except.. lots of distressing, on scull i added paper glace. The hearts are cut from white chipboard with my Cuttlebug Concentric heart shape. I have added lots of glue and than added Martha Stewart glitter powders to it in red and black.
