Ponsietta's

Hello and welcome. I must say, iam disappointed how this card shows on the pictures. You know how this is? You have made a card, you really like and than you just can not get it right on the photos. Tildas (Silent Night - So Snowy Collection) cute face just looks so pale on the pictures. I don't know.. i think i must consider getting a different daylight lamp. Right now i take my pictures in the porch and since the daylight is getting shorter and shorter, it seams i can not get it right.

I love those pretty K&Company papers from last year :-) i have been hoarding every tiny little scrap i produce when making a card with them. I like especially the bottom paper with the big white roses. So pretty. I was able to cut it so it would show here and there some sparkle. On the brown paper I used lots of Shimmerz Spritz. On the Ponsiettas is Stickles in Golden Rod and on the swirls Star Dust Stickles.

The vintage flower embellishment (Melissa Frances) is aged with Distress inks and some Shimmerz in Antique . To deepen certain shadows on her coat and on her head band i have used on this time some Prisma Color pencils.
Please check out this weeks Challenge over on Cute Card Thursday. You can submit cards featuring swirls. Perfect for this time of the year!
Have lovely day and take care.

I think your pictures are gorgeous. I think your coloring is just marvelous. Remember this is the internet and so you are dealing with a lot of different types of output. (monitors). I am stunned as usual by your talent.

Claudia, this is fabulous. Doesn't look like anything's wrong to me. Love the rich colours. I was trying to colour this same image and was having a hard time trying to figure out which are the poinsettias and which are the leaves. Looks like I goofed on mine...hee hee. Hmm..wonder if I should start over. Having the same problem here with getting good lighting in these gloomy weather nowadays.

Hugs.
