Nativity Scene

TAC_2_head

Good morning everyone…. well… may i show you a “forgotten” card lol. Gee.. all week long i try to get over a cold and a double ear infection and i am thinking, something fast and easy to do would be nice.

Because of all the time that i used to make my “sets” for the new Magnolia ink #2 i am totally behind with my Christmas cards for my family AND friends. So, i picked out this cute Snowman set at i have purchased at the lovely Chris Franco (my TAC demo) and quickly made this easy card.

There is a little trick i use now and than if i do not mask images properly ooor if my red colors bleed into spaced they do not belong. Have you seen Copic  Opaque White? This paint is super easy to use and gives you a nice coverage on such unwanted ink spots – i have used it also for setting highlights on hair and clothes instead of the white gel pen. Here a i have added some to my snowmen and than added Stickles on top of them and onto the ground between the Liquid Appliqué.

Stamps: Snowman from the TAC Company
Papers: Neenah Classic Ultra white, Basic Grey
Punch: Fiskars Wavy Border punch
Embellishments: Liquid Appliqué, Stickles, Laces (Joann Fabric), Copic Opaque White paint

L'image du tampon est mimi, j'aime moins la dentelle, mais cela fait tout de même un superbe ensemble ! Bravooo

First, I hope you are feeling better today. :) It's no fair when "mom" gets sick...

Great tips on how to fix things, this looks so perfect...I always am amazed how you know just the right color, the right piece of lace or ribbon, etc...each card is a masterpiece! This is one I'd frame and bring out every Christmas.

Hi Claudia
How cute is this!! Love the papers with the image:-) Hey is the copic white supposed to be really thick? I opened mine yesterday and it's really thick, can you add a touch of water to thin it if its not supposed to be that thick?
Really love the added trim behind the image:-)
