HOWDY

FridaySketchers_LinkToUs2

Hello, welcome to my blog today! Today i would love to show you the matching card i have made to give along with my star notebook. To kick off my card i used the sketch that my friend Jeanette came up with for the Friday Sketcher blog. CHECK IT OUT! We have some wonderful ideas with this sketch and also again a fab prize to win.

I have used the same embellishments, stamps and papers as listed on my posting yesterday so i do not want to bother you again with those details. However… on the book i have used chipboard letters that i have purchased in the store. For the card i wanted to come up with something different but be in the same “theme”. So i have cut from thin cardboard (a empty box of cereals will do) my circle shape with Nestabilities (layer both shapes at the same time onto the chipboard – so you will get the same radius) and cut it with my Big Shot out. Than i have added heavily glue to it and sprinkled with glitter (i used the sugar coating but there is crushed velvet as well) . Let dry and shake excess off. I have done this with a few things i have made and can show you a few more samples  over the next days.

Oh, and if you have some bare spots where no glue is, after it has dried just use a matching Copic marker and you can not see a difference. Doesn’t look this shape like it was store bought like the alphabet letters from yesterday???

Edit to add: the star in the front of the card is sketched and cut out by hand – a pain – i really want to get the Star Nestabilitie shape! The scallop star shape in the inside is made with a Bigz Sizziz die.

Now since my set is for my dear friend Jacque :-) The bar was set high.. lol and this time i could not get away with not decorating the inside of my card as well. haahaha.. noticed.. did the same with the back of the notebook too.

Take care you all! Did you all get your Turkey for Thanksgiving already? Gee.. that thing is huuudge.. my freezer is full :-(
