Hello and a wonderful Saturday! Today i would love to show you a card that i have made for a friend in Germany!
As of my choice of stamps… you probably need to know that the German’s have fortune symbols for New Year like the piglet, the 4 leave glover and the chimney cleaning man in black suit (i don’t know the name for him).
Lucky me, i had most of the stamps to get the recipe for a nice Magnolia scene card started.

Every image on this card is masked – so i can submit it to “Just Magnolia” this week.
The card does not even require all the flowers – if you want to cut down costs. Sometimes i think the embellishments take away from all the stamping details and effort i do for my card. I have added to the flowers “Stardust” Stickles and to the glover “Lime Green”, the sentiment is lined with Copic Spica pen to add soft subtle sparkle.

That is an amazing scene with brilliant masking !
In France they send cards for the New Year rather than Christmas like in the UK and in both we have the same symbols of good luck with the Chimney Sweep and 4-leaf clover, although the piglet is a new one to me! I love finding out the different traditions of countries :)
