Friendship

Hello and a wonderful Sunday. Today i want to show you a gift that i have prepared to give to a dear friend. I had to think and do some research to find something that i believe she does not already have :-) and that's hopefully her taste.
On the first picture you can see the ebony finished hardwood box, which i could not resist to give some sparkle with Shimmerz spritz and decorated simply with a silver frame and some letters.

Now of course the inside had to be decorated with my Magnolia's :-) i had several images out even the new Christmas ones but i ended up with this lovely die cut irecent paper and layered that one over a sheet of pink patterned paper. From there i knew, which Tilda i wanted to use. I think it is just a nice all year round image, she's hopefully not bored of to see.

Here are some extra pictures - i did not fill up the box entirely to show you how absolutely PERFECT the Shimmerz paints fit into that box. However i could not go to crazy with decorating the inside of the box otherwise it would not close anymore. Oh, and the other day when i got myself some extra paints, i got "Opal" which does not look every exciting on the pictures but oh.. when i used it.. it is very lovely! I think it gives the paper a settled vintage look without overpowering with too much pink. I have mixed this color with Candle light and the result was really pretty as well.
