A Christmas Gift Idea

shimmerz_head
Hello, thank you for swinging by today. Today i show you something that i have prepared for a friend to give for Christmas. Well.. i had hoped that i could figure out how to blurr the name on the shield that cute lil Flicka is holding but i just could not figure it out :-( so i have added my watermark over it in the hope it is not too visible.
I store my own Shimmerz paints in this clear box that i used from my favorite Chocolates Ferrero Rocher hmmmm yummy :-) because the box is narrow and the paint jars fit nicely in. For my present i had to buy an other box, eat all the chocolate (what a pain) :-) and than i have lined the box at the bottom with some patterned paper and decorated the top.

The label i created with Photoshop Elements (which took me probably the longest lol), just cut out with Nestabilitie oval shape and for shimmer i had to use Shimmerz paint in Gold  :-). Unfortunately i have forgotten to take a picture of the inside of the lid. I have made a little chart so my friend can add some color samples inside the chart and see how the color looks on paper so she can make an easy decision what matches her project. Inside this box is also a set of brushes to use with the paints.
Oh, and since the labels of the paint jars were all different shapes i have added with my Dymo label maker my own. The tags are not glued permanently on – so if my friend does not like the look, she can take them easily off.

This is an easy and fairly fast gift idea – the box did not really cost anything and the paints can be purchased for a good price and a nice variety at 7kids College Fund.
