Today’s card is made using the wonderful sketch that’s been posted over on the Motivet blog. Have you seen that Stephanie is having each Friday a sketch (i have uploaded the sketch into my sidebar to the right) to follow? If you make a card with a Motivet image 2 people have a chance to win stamps??? jeepieeee. :-) alright!
I have started to stamp my image onto Neenah Classic Ultra White Cardstock with Memento ink and colored it with my Copics in. For the background and to set the high lights on the clothes – i have used Copics from the 0000 line. Some aging was done with shimmering chalks and than i have stamped some swirls with my new Hampton arts stamp set around the shape with Distress ink (stamped once off)
Other: Cardstock Bazzill, Design Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Embellishments: Prima Marketing (Flowers), 25 (Making Memories), Brads, Stickles on ground and on lamp post, Copic Qpaque to set highlights!
Stampin up (scalloped border punch and Top Note Die)

This is just beautiful! How did you cut around the top note die to do the matting? I have that die and when I try to cut along the perforations it never comes out very smooth. Yours is perfect! Did you use an exacto knife or scissors? (I too am from Michigan and not looking forward to the snow!)
