Hello girls, thank you for swinging by today. To my card.... well.. i really really dislike it!!! The challenge over on "Stamp with Fun " is to use colors brown and turquoise. Certainly not the colors i feel comfortable with. I only had found this paper in my stash and i think it is about 5 years old. I really had to "cut" that card out on me. I moved stuff, i added things.. and it just did not feel "right"! Do you know that? Last end was that i had stamped the palm tree again and cut just the leaves out and added them with pop-up dots to the first palm tree just to make SOMETHING different.. hahaha.. but still.. :-(

Claudia, you are hilarious!! You're much too hard on yourself! I love this card, your coloring is superb, especially the hair and sand, and your palm tree is so cool! But I sure do know what you mean. I have a hard time with most of my cards and move stuff, eliminate stuff, add stuff until I'm bonkers! In the end though, you came up with a darling card anyone would be proud to receive, or any publication would be thrilled to print. Good job hanging in there with this sweet card...

We are always hardest on ourselves. You may have felt uncomfortable with the color choices, but it doesn't show in the end result. Me and 54 other who have commented love it!!! Great job.
Sometimes stepping out of our comfort zone helps us to become more creative and think outside the same box we get ourselves stuck in.
Claudia, I know exactly how you feel! And I honestly think we can't be expected to like our own work 100% of the time. That being said, I love this card. I am a big fan of the colour combo and how you coloured Tilda. The cut out leaves are a beautiful touch.
I have had times when I can get it right and struggle with the card. It is very darling even if you don't like the finish product.
