2 cards

oh my.. :-0 i hope you forgive me for showing cards that are so out of the season. Both cards were made beginning of November 2008. I have used the "winter house" by Alota and hand sketched the pond and rocks myself. This card became the inspiration for the Alota Rubberstamps "pond" which makes it so much easier to stamp the skating couple in a nice more detailed scene. Both cards have been published. Unfortunately it does not show well on the picture - i have added to the pond a think layer of Paper Glaze to mimic the pond and on the outside is lots of Dazzeling Diamond Dust for snow.

The first card works for this weeks challenge on Cute Card Thursdays theme "A Sporting Chance" :-) and the bottom one i just thought hmmm.. Wedding month is comming up too...

Stamps: Alota Rubberstamps, all other stamps: Magnolia Rubberstamps "New Years" Collection 2008
Sentiment: Stampin up "Fancy Flexible Phrases" & "Always"
Embellishments: Hodgepodge, Stampin up ribbons, Paper Glaze, Dazzeling Diamond Dust, Silver Scrolls the paper company (Archivers Wedding Section)
Paper/CS: Making Memories, Imaginice, Basic Grey, Stampin up

Cute cards Claudia. Don't mind you showing a christmas card especially as I know you made it last year. If I thought you were making them now it might make me feel a little inferior! :-)

Claudia, both cards are fabulous. And it doesn't matter if the winter one is out of season. It's so adorable that viewing it anytime is a treat. (In fact for some slowpokes who takes too long just to finish one card--that's me!--should really start making winter/xmas cards now, hee hee.) Love the skating Tilda/Edwin image--Diana said to wait until July to order. Your pond scene is just perfect.

The card with the kissing couple is just perfect for the upcoming June month. Your paper border makes me think of wedding dress lace.

Hugs
Norma xx
