Spring is just around the corner

Hello, as you know we have started to pick some "older" or maybe not so popular Magnolia stamps each Wednesday. For today i combined my stamp with the duck family that Alota has just released. This Tilda was released in the Lilac Collection, i believe "Tilda sitting with lilacs" received more attention than she did. I like her because she lets me make a horizontal panel for my card. Usually with people images you are limited to the more vertical layouts.
The ducklings and the mother goose are perfect for a nice spring scene and those images they NEVER get old!! The mother goose is cut out and on pop up dots for dimension. Please also note how i airbrushed my background. You don't have to have a nice and even blue tint to your sky.. that's not natural. I held my air gun in different ankles to get some kind of light and interest to my background. To ground my images i hand sketched the grass and the tiny flowers. Those were really easy, just like we have all done it in school - the 4 petal round flowers. I was considering to stamp the mother goose inside of the card, but i love her in white and on just that panel it would needed some more color, so that's how the ducklings ended up in there :-)

Supplies: Tilda "Lilac Collection" from Magnolia, Ducklings and mother goose can be found at Alota's new Easter Collection
CS: Cosmo Cricket "Honey Pie" was sent to me by sweet Irina!!! I could not find it anywhere and she sent me a huge pack of this gorgeous paper!!! Thank you so much!
Other embellishments: Stampin up Vanilla Grosgrain (front) So Saffron inside, Stickles, Prima Flowers and Stampin up flower brad, Melissa Frances, Robins Nest
Copic Sketch: r20, e000, y23, y38, c3, yr20, e31, r43, yr02, y26, c1, e34, y21, yr16, yr68, o, e00, r46, e97, yg11, g82

enough about my card. Please take a look at Carole's blog and Jaqueline's site because they also joined the challenge and made a card using this Tilda image for you. If you like to join in our challenge each week.. feel free to use any of our blogs Carole's, Jaqueline's or mine to link your creation.
