Hello and happy Thursday. I made this card for todays Cute Card Thursday Challenge. The theme for this week is to create a scene.... weeeeelll... still into Valentines mood and obviously thinking about sweet stuff all the time (iam on a diet :-) i used for my card the new Alota Rubberstamp cupcake with dressy Tilda from the New Years Collection. Both stamps work perfectly together and so do many more of Helene's new images. Since my layer behind Tilda felt a bit empty, even tho i airbrushed and stamped around the frame some scrolls in "Going Grey" (stamped once off) i added a piece of tulle behind her to give it more interest. I tied a know on the left and the right and adhered it with glue dots to the card. To make the knots look prettier, i added some bows tied with pink Taffeta ribbon. I sewed the card with silver thread and added highlights with a glitter pen here and there to repeat the sparkle from the thread.
Blog candy Alert: Please come visit Pretty Pressings tomorrow when i will be able to show you 2 brand new sets that are going to be released. Alota sponsored one complete sheet for one lucky winner. Those new stamps are going to be wonderful :-) because you can use your existing tools and give your projects and cards a entire new look for really not much effort.
Here is a picture of the inside of my card.. i used the Martha Stewart tiny hearts punch to create a matching frame (very Vanilla layer) this was soooo easy see the scallops how nicely they even matched up on the corners??? i was quite surprised because i did not measure or anything just punched :-) looove it. Third pic is a bit dark but it was the only way to show the scrolls i have stamped with a set that my friend Kristine bought me in Norway it is called Grundge set.
