In my toughts

Hi, how is your holiday preparations going :-) i got yesterday way to big turkey and most of my supplies i need for cooking. This year will be the first time that i will make dinner and iam kind of worried if it all turns out :-) My card for today is simple and fast. I love the Rachelle Anne Miller images they are really so fun to color in. I cleaned my scrap box up and found this stripe of flower paper from a DCVW paper stack - and this became my inspiration for this card. However.. i had trouble finding the matching paper in my stash to use for the top part of the card. The colors on the photo look odd.. as you can see the pinks are too bright and the background looks dark.. it is just this time of the year when it is dark and grey outside that the pictures just don't turn out well.
hugs and thanks for swinging by today.
Paper/CS: DCVW, Stampin up
Other: Stampin up silver hardware, Nestabilities, Stickles

I'm sure dinner will be delicious - just make sure you plaster the turkey with fat of some sort so it doesn't dry out - old fashioned butter muslin works great! and you made a gorgeous card with that cute image, and such pretty papers. hugs, annie x

Oh I think your colors look perfect Claudia!
Good luck on that meal, my mom is cooking and I get to bring the soda! Is that cool or what. I can not wait for that turkey, stuffing and mashed pot/gravy. I think that I dreamed about it last night.
Have a wonderful thanksgiving!
