Hope / Matha Stewart punches

I told you yesterday that i have made an other one lol :-) promise.. this is for now the last one :-) Not exactly the right time of the year for this summery card but the background from the Shabby Chic Collection was just perfect to use. I stamped the background first and cut it out with the Creative Memories Circle system. The grass was created with scissor - the top (grassy area) is sponged with Certainly Celery. I added the circle to my foldings and i noticed that if i would move it all down that the hill would not be visible so i adhered it so that the card would measure 5.5 and to hide the seam i added prima flowers. I was thinking to add maybe the tiny ladybug but was worried that the card would get too busy - now looking at it.. i think it would have worked. But hey.. all the cards are already on the way to Sweden. Tildas skin is colored with E11 Barely Beige. I had previously colored one image darker (E31) but that did not look right. I need a really nice brown color for her. She is soo cute - looks like my sons best friend Sidney - iam so happy that i got this Tilda in my package. To finish up the card i added some Stickles to the clouds and on the bashful blue mat.

Now i know that many of you love the Martha Stewart punches. She just came out with 12 new border punches and several of the size like the leave punch you see on my pic. These are the ones i got for myself but I got for my really dear friends Carole and Jaqueline all 12. If you want to see all the new patterns - iam sure you can ask them to take a pictures. Unfortunately there are no pics of the punches yet on the Martha Stewart homepage . Each border punch is 14.99
looove the new leave punch. I totally overlooked that one at first - until Michelle told me about it - i went back and hooorayyy.. that one was still left. I tell you.. those punches flew out of the store. Each pattern came 3x in on Monday and i got already 2/3 each.. the next day i tought i get some more for myself and they were all gone. I hope there is a new tuck load comming this Monday again.

It is a very cute card! Carole and Jacquiline are very lucky! I can only get mine through ebay. May I ask what kind of cardstock do you use to punch them with? I have tried punching the doily lace punch using PT I paper and they cannot go through. :(
