A card for Gizmo

This weeks challenge on CCT was perfect for me because i instandly knew that i wanted to make a card for Tina. She could not blogg for about 2 months because she was worried sick of her dogs. I had pets myself and i know how attached you can get to them and felt totally with her. I gave the doghouse the name "Rufus" but i can easily change this because the sign is raised on pop-up dots - so is the dog too.

Stamps: Magnolia Rufus and grass (Shabby Chic collection) Alota doghouse

Paper: CS Chocolate Chip, Basic Grey 6x6 paper stack

Tools: Scalloped SU punch

Embellishments: Making Memories Eyelets, yellow stickles on the flower, wide Su Grossgrain ribbon, stiching,

I had a question on how i did the corners so i wrote this via email back and i thought i post it here on my blog as well

the orange paper is just one piece
than the more patterend paper i used the Stampin up scalloped punch and just inserted it half way in... like you would use a corner rounder
once punched out
i layed my main image on top of that more patterend paper (temporarely with scotch double sided tape)
linged the scalloped punch (you know the waves) up with the previous punched waves and punched the white (main image) pice again.
than i took the main image off the patterend paper and sewed it
after that i glued the main image completely onto the paper
