Home is...

were your mother is. Love this sentiment :-) I like to sent my Mom cards like this - cause it's the simple things like a certain dish or smell that always remindes you of things when you grew up.

When i saw that house at Alota Rubberstamps a few months back i fell instantly in love with it. I actually got it because it think it works so nice with all kinds of people images. For this card I used Tilda with broom. I dont know.. i like how the patterns repeat .. see the curtains - the wave.. i think it looks nice with the way Tilda's dress swings. I also cut a scalloped border with my siccors to imitate the waves of skirt and curtains. The paper is a pack of 8x8 from SEI that i found at Michaels on sale this weekend.
Stamps: Tilda with broom, House: Alota Rubberstamps, Sentiment: Stampin up (retired)
Paper/CS: Bazzill (Magnolia), Very Vanilla, Whisper White, SEI
Embellishments: Sewing, Hodgepodge Hardware kit, white gel pen, Stickles
Coloring: Copics, Pebbels shimmery chalks
Our basement project is comming along :-) the carpet is almost in.. on the weekend i did not only color in some images.. no i also painted baseboards and fixed some damages on the wall paint.
Edit:
I got many emails regarding the "Cherish" card. Edwin sitting on the dock. I added now the direct link to this specific stamp (Art Impressions) underneath the picture.
