Do you love strawberries?

I have to admit .. i really like this card :-) i usually never show more than 2 pics of one of my cards but this one is different.

The card first started out that Kristine challenged me a while back with some flowers she sent me and some embellishments i got from Magnolia.
Kristines flowers were yellow sunflowers, i took them appart and used only the center of the flower and added my Hydrangeas to match the DP i had. Once i have a nice DP to macht the sunflowers i will work with the petals. The Magnolia strawberries were colored with Copics and glazed with Paperglaze, once dry cut out. The lace ribbon is from from the $1 bin and i sewed it to the widest Twill that i got from SU. This ribbon acts pretty much as a "pocket" - you could pull that "Health Check" tag out.
decorative sewing to attach the Desinger Papers

this is how the card looks half open

The inside. I added some small butterflies (Heidi Swapp) covered them with Stickles and glued them down. These butterflies were sent to me by Aline! Sponging with close to cocoa ink
Stamps: Magnolia strawberry stamp new summer collection 2008
Sentiment: Stampin up
Other: Stampin up: Twill ribbon, May Arts: brown decorative ribbon, Lace ribbon $1 bin, Buttons Making Memories
Ink: close to cocoa, creamy caramel, Copics
CS/DP: Making Memories Noteworthy, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla

So my question to you- do you send out your cards or are you like me and put them in a box? Be honest!:)If you put them in a box- I challenge you to send out 2 this week to someone that has inspired you.
