A Different Magnolia Card

Not the usual Magnolia card, right?! Rembember the card made with Magnolias "pile of presents"? This is the same approach.... i wanted to make a card using these stamps in a non cute way. Magnolia is very versatile and thats what i love about these stamps.

I made this card last night for Aud. Sorry ladies but this candy is soo sweet.. and i have a sweet thooth :-) so i have to play again. You can submit up to 3 cards. Again, on this card i did A LOT of stiching :-) Layout/Sketch was inspired by a fabulous card i saw on SCS but i can not refer to the sketch anymore sorry. The buttons (Making Memories) are threaded with silver cording. I used Brocade Blue CS and ink, White CS and Craft Ink and Rose Red CS. The sentiment is a retired SU set called Sage Advice. I did not purchase this stamp set at this time when it was available i bought it off ebay.. there is a wonderful sentiment in included it this set from Anne Frank. it was for me worth the money. I had to have this set.
2 flowers are stamped in brocade blue on white CS cut out and layered onto rose CS and cut out again, one the opposite way. I really like to stamp with white Craft ink at the moment, it saves me the rub-ons that are so hot right now here in the us. (HOT = did i watch too long the Insider??? sounds alreay like Paris Hilton hahahaha) The panel behind the flowers is embossed with one of the new Cuttlebug embossing folders.
