Thomas Kinkade Lighthouse

For the Arty Girlz Challenge Blog was this card made. The challenge this week is "stamping"! Man ... it has been a while since i made a card completely stamped. So this WAS a challenge :-)These new pretty papers in the stores are just sooo tempting and beautiful. My husband needs a card for a co-worker, who is going through a rough time so i thought the lighthouse stamp (Thomas Kinkade image) would be something appropriate.
The base of the card is Very Vanilla, the green panel is Mellow Moss stamped with Cheesecloth background and sponged arround the edges in Mellow Moss. I stamped a pice of Creamy Caramel with Canvas backgrounder and Close Cocoa ink and distressed it. The Lighthouse was first stamped onto shimmery white CS in Mellow Moss and again with Versafine brown, cut the oval out and mounted it with spacer onto the image stamped in Mellow Moss. To repeat the more natural feeling of this card i used the SU twill i love so much on my cards. I stamped the first few words of a saying from "In My Thoughts" on the front of the card and added 3 dots (evenly spaced with the piercing tool as help) and the rest of the saying was stamped inside.
This card is totally inspired by the awesome Debbie Olsen. All supplies CS and stamps (TK is Cornish Heritage) are Stampin up products.

Have a Happy Valentines Day ladies!
