Tilda In Hollyhockfield

Here is my second "scene"-card. I do not have a many Magnolia stamps yet but i did get the cat from a dear friend. I was so happy when she finally arrived in my mailbox last week.

I traced a cloudshape on a piece of chipboard and cut it out. Than i sponged with my blue inkpad and a cosmetic sponge the sky in, by moving the template each time on a different spot. The last 1/3 on the bottom of the card i left white, so i was able to color in some grass. After the sky was sponged i used my Stampin up Hollyhock Jumbo wheel to wheel the flowers. I colored the flowers to match Tilda's sweater. Tilda and the cat are mounted onto foam spacer. The "sun" is made with the Stampin Up scalloped punch in "Marigold Morning" (there is a small tutorial on my blog) and added the Sentiment from "In My thougths". A yellow rhinestone adds the right amount of sparkle for the sun and holds everything in place.
Stamps: Magnolia (Tilda and Kitten), Stampin up: Hollyhock Wheel (retired), In my thoughts
Tools: var. Stampin up Circle punches, scalloped punch
Ink: var. Marker, Bashful Blue Ink pad
Embellishments: Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon, Making Memories: Rhinestone Brad and antique brads

Paper: Stampin up: Palette O'Prints, Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Bashful Blue, Marigold Morning

Ok, me again...I've been staring at that card! :) I love the way you added depth by adding the grass before the flowers...the wheel is awesome, to bad it's retired, looks great, will have to dig out all my wheels I never use, lol. And I think I figured out the sky, love the color you chose...thanks for the inspiration!
