 Hi there,

today i have something older. Made this matchbox for Magnolia's Doo Hickey Christmas Vol 2 issue. Since it was published there i do have the detailed supply list available to post. 

Are you guys excited for the new stamps also? I just now placed my order for the kit :-) i was contemplating with myself if i should get the kit or wait and just order the individual stamps once i know how the look like. Awh... decisions, decisions....

Baby Welcome Gift

Baby, Baby uh! Baby

Needed a few baby gifts. Since i alway look at my local yarn shop for a sales i have most of the time 2 -3 skeins of the same color which is enough to make a cute baby vest.

 Here is a boy and girl version using the "Milo" pattern. On the boy version Size 3-6 month i just did a twisted cable detail and for the girl (size 1 year) i did a heart shaped cable.

Boy sweater: Louisa Harding Merino cotton
Girl Sweater: Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and Madeline Tosh Pashmina (light violet)

 Not my favorite yarn but my boys picked it. It used one skein of Noro Silk I cant remember if it was Kogarahi or Kureon

This one i like :-)
Was an easy and enjoyable knit with chunky soft cotton yarn.

Nautical Paper bag

My girlfriend Tammi had her 50 birthday this year. She loves the nautical themed Magnolia images, so i used the images i had and made her a paper bag.

Before you keep looking at the pictures i need to tell you, that at the time i made the paper bag i wasn't thinking i would ever post on my blog again, i really thought i was over it. Therefore i just quickly snapped some photos with my old cell phone before posting it and didnt care about the quality. 

Anyhow.... i changed my mind and that's why i post today :-)

 Bed Bath and Beyond Gift card simply because it was the only card they had that was blue and went with the theme. I ALWAYS find some stuff i "need" at this store :-)

You will be very pleased with the customer service you will receive there! Which frankly isnt everywhere the same. I ordered the other day at some store located inside the USA the Magnolia DooHickey Vol 7 issue and the shop packaged so poorly that some of my dies came bend! I didn't say anything, but i know i will not order there again.

L-E-O blocks

 showing you guys a 3d project i made back in 2014 for Magnolia Sweden using the back than new Zodiac Collection stamps with a older cute image (Tilda in Tiger suit). I always loved her - she was in a Valentines Collection.

 All papers are Magnolia Ink double sided papers. The supplies for this project came mostly from Sir Stampalot , except the wooden blocks, they came from Hobby Lobby.

Chocolate bar cover

I have seen those cute covers for larger chocolate bars over on my fiends Christinas blog for a long time. She made so many of them to gift for Christmas. I always wondered how she made those. Finally the other day i found Mariannes blog and she a  tutorial up for it. Thank you Marianne!

her measurements didnt work out for the bars we get in the USA, so i got in my store a medium sized bar (Ghiradelli-the girls like the good stuff) and winged it. Her photos do help though to understand the concept.

Of course i forgot to take photos of the inside duh! because i had to get this baby out in the mail asp. I did make another one and i will show photos how the inside is folded.

note: my front flap is 3.5 inches, 1 CM high, 3.5 inches back side, 1 cm, flap to make the pocket 2.5 inches. (NOTE i played with inches AND metric measurements)!!!!

I don't know the name of this cute Tilda - i am sure Sir Stamaplot has all the stamps. I did get the pretty Magnolia paper (Sweet Rainbow collection) and all the dies from there. Doo Hickey keys, Lili of the Valley (sooo cute and it wasnt expensive yeah! the heart doily butterfly is a original Frantic stamper!

i took a much needed break for my child from blogging, 1 year to be exact. I must say it feels still good, although the last month the "Magnolia-Itch" came back :-) BIG TIME :-) I wasnt sure if i wanted to post photos of the new things to the blog, but than i thought WHY NOT? However, unlike before while i was a DT for Sir Stampalot and Magnolia, i decided to just take a picture with my cell phone and post that rather using the big camera and photo tent. Overall i want to make this quick and fun for me. I am going to mention who was kind enough to me to give me the supplies. Which was 99% through Sir Stampalot! 

I made this last night for my neighbor Molly. She is a florist and still uses those little notebooks for her phone orders. coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils, most stamps are Magnolia

Simple envelope card with tutorial

hello back with an other quick but oh so sweet idea to use with your Mini Magnolia stamps. sorry for the dark pictures… I really need to start using my day light lamps again.

Doesn’t this look nice? no cutting required just folding. lets go ahead and make one, all you need is pretty double sided paper.

Supplies:
Magnolia Doo Hickey border die, Magnolia Sentiment: Loving Wishes
Magnolia ink double sided design paper
Ribbon,
Martha Stewart clay and mold for frame and butterfly
Copic markers
Corner rounder
Gesso for a vintage wash
chipboard embellishments, pearl brad


Simple envelope card

Supplies:

1 sheet double sided Designer paper (DSP)
I used Magnolia ink, Adhesive if desired
to finish card:
stamps, sentiments, ribbon, dies and flowers
Directions:
Step 1: Cut DSP into a square. Sample has been cut to 10 inches x10 inches
Step 2: fold your DSP in half

Step 3: fold in half again. You will have a square.

Step 4:
open your paper. It should now look like this:

Step 5: fold all four tips or corners of your DSP to the center point of your scored lines (center of your DSP) If your DSP is heavy weight and it’s hard to fold, or if you can’t see the scored lines well due to the pattern of your DSP you could use a ruler to help you guide. This is how your DSP should look after you folded all 4 tips to the center point.

Step 6: flip your paper face down

Step 7: and fold your paper in half

Step 8: open flap and fold it to the other side

Step 9: this is how your card will look like after the flap is folded “back”. You can now glue both DSP together or embellish the seam with lace or some of your die cut borders.

Step 10:
cut a piece of white paper according to the size you created your envelope to add your message. If you started out with a square 10x10 inches of DSP you might want to cut your slider to 6 ¾ and 3 ¼
