Today i would love to show you an other sneak peek from the newest Whiff Of Joy stamp release. I wanted to make a more muted card with natural earthy tones.
The card uses papers from Basic Grey Wassail line. I am almost out of this beautiful paper, so i had to work with one of those single plain sheets.. i usually always neglect those in the packs. The others simply did not work color wise. So i have added texture and interest i with one of my new Stampin up embossing folders (Square Lattice). The pattern is really, really small and narrow, Love it!.
The snowflake is entirely handmade. First i cut the flake with my Stampin up Sizzix Snowflake from sturdy cardboard out (i love to recycle for that purpose the backing that comes with the Design Papers from Stampin up), added lots of glue to the shape and sprinkled Twinkles over it. Once dried, i cut the flake apart and arranged the pieces so that it would match Tanja’s sketch over on the current “Friday Sketchers” challenge blog. !
