Merry Christmas and Candy Time

So sorry for being late with my posting.
My card was made for Just Magnolia using Dawny’s fabulous sketch for this week and i had my card ready for Friday – you might have seen in on the Challenge blog already… i just was not feeling quite well the past days.

I made that card the day i came down with the stomach flue… so i picked a stamp that really did not involve too much coloring. The cute new Tilda with star was perfect. Many of the new Collection are sold out and on backorder but this cutie is in stock and ready to be shipped. I just focused on the the face and hair a bit more… and the the folds on the dress were colored with E40/41/42/43.. halo stippled watercolors randomly around her in grey and bordering blue. Finished.

Since the card is for Just Magnolia i picked a sentiment (perfect background stamp from last years collection) from Magnolia for the tag. I stamped that with Walnut stain – ll layers are sponged. Papers are by Websters pages (available at Sharon’s place), last years Christmas papers. Oh.. and i have still so many of the Prima Ponsietta flowers who were “in” prior to WOC – flowers :-) can not toss those… they are so cute as well and i thought this natural color (there is a sheer one layered over a solid flower) looks nice with the image.
Usually i try to keep the postings for the different companies i design for separate, but today want to use this posting to announce the winner of last Sunday’s WOJ candy.. otherwise i have so many postings up on one day and you are going to kill me if i fill up your mailbox with all those emails lol
