Holy Night

Hello, thank you for swinging by! Today i have a card made with cute little Lucia from the Magnolia 2008 Collection. I totally love this image and the one with the shorter dress and, and, and ,and….. hahaha. Love them all, but since i have not inked up this stamp yet, i choosed her for my card. I know that if colored the dress, correctly i believe it should probably be white or off white, but i could not resist :-) the papers called for some color.

First i stamped Tilda, masked her and stamped over her “Silent Night” background stamp. Stamped Tilda a second time, colored in and cut out used smaller pop up dots to raise off my papers. For coloring i love  Neenah white paper. On the detail shot below you hopefully can see the shimmer i have added with some Shimmerz “Butter cream” on Tilda’s dress and the Designer papers are heavily spritzed with Shimmerz sprays , they are originally much lighter and i was able to achieve a much more vintage look by adding the spray. However, i should have added my sewing first and than add the spray. The thread is too white.

 

Just for fun … here is a detail shot of all the STUFF i have added lol. Prima roses are dressed up with Stickles “Candy Cane” a pin, a cross charm and some of those bead strings that i picked up at the Dollar store.

I think Magnolia will soon be shipping out those Winter kits we have ordered.. just a quick reminder to have some Sunder International EZ mount handy at home or some Tack N Peel lol. Happens to me AAALL the time!
